I wanna get something clear — this place isn’t cheap. Don’t expect to tailor a suit for $ 30. However, you get what you pay for. Their alterations are quality! We have had multiple suits, dress pants, and dresses altered through them and they did a lovely job each time! Will definitely recommend and will definitely return!

Top quality! Lucia and her husband are highly trained and skilled professional European tailors. You can probably find cheaper, but not better! They altered an expensive holiday dress for me that was one size too large. The end result was a dress that fit like a glove and was beautifully finished inside and out. Dont use this company if you want to have money after walking out the door. My dear friend told me her story of sending TWO SHIRTS for alterations this week. She needed two blouses taken in because she lost some weight. She went in to pick up the TWO SHIRTS and was told it would cost her 248 dollars!!! OUTRAGEOUS. i will NEVER use this company. NEVER. i am hoping to make others aware of this sort of freeway robbery. My friend had no option but to pay the price to receive her shirts back. I would’ve thrown them back in her face and said «you keep the damn shirts».
How can you justify this kind of business??

I wouldn’t recommend Lucia’s unless you have an endless amount of extra money in your pocket. I dropped a MOH dress off to be hemmed. I made the costly mistake of being in a hurry and forgetting to ask how much this service would cost. She charged me $ 230 to hem a $ 189 dress! I was in absolute shock. I will say this dress did have layers of organza fabric. The price tag was still on the dress. When you, as a business owner, realize it’s going to be outrageously expensive it’s only right to inform your client of how costly this service will be. Then she argued with me about how much I thought she should make, etc. She said she charges $ 30 and hour. I mean David’s bridal would charge around $ 100 for the entire alteration. I like to support small businesses usually. She did good work but I feel completely taken advantage of. I’ve been going there for 6 years and have been willing to pay high prices in order to support her business but I’ll never go back. Very poor business ethics in my opinion.

Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on my daughter’s prom dress at little notice. It was her first time at a dressmaker’s and I appreciate that you made the whole experience so positive and stress free for her yet sharing the benefit of your specialist knowledge

Lucia is wonderful, and her alterations are perfect. I have had a dozen things altered by her, and she does an incredible job. From sewing on patches to altering jeans and jackets, she’s your gal!
