Good option for dinner in North Bend, where there are very few places to choose from. I went for the dinner buffet for $ 14.99, twice. It’s only available Mon and Tue and probably not permanently. They had a full salad bar, about 10 side dishes and about 10 meat, seafood and chicken options. Two soups were available. Besides a few cakes, pies and pudding, they had some sugar free desserts, a case of ice cream sandwiches and cones. I thought the prime rib was good quality and probably the star of the buffet. The staff were very attentive. Good for families. Even if you’re not going to the casino, there’s an entrance from outside on the boardwalk. I noticed it smelled a bit like cigarettes near the entrance and first few tables, so I sat farther back and it was fine.

Went and tried out the $ 7.99 all American buffet on Saturday nights. The food was cold and tastless. The ribs were so tough you couldn’t eat them. The corn on the cob tasted like it was from 3 summers ago. The so called Mac and cheese tasted like plain boiled noodles. Only thing edible was dessert and dinner rolls. The rest was slop.

Excellent! Too bad buffet is only open Monday and Tuesday… Ask for server, Selena and hostess Bonnie(both in restaurant and buffet) … they made for a very enjoyable dining experience in both venues … also, in the kitchen, Kaylynn suggested the New York steak, which she prepared perfectly … quality of service and food make this a must-stop on hwy 101…

Well for starters the lunch price is not to high but the service is great and the people are very friendly. All though there was not a lot to choose from the food they do have is very very very good. The tri tip is AMAZING!!! And over the environment is family friendly and the place is just over all a great place to eat and go for any meal they offer.

Buffets in casinos are usually all the same — worldwide. Although, I must say, this one don’t have many options. [Minus 1 star] But it is understandable since its in such a small town. But I do like this buffet because of all the seafood! I especially love the clam chowder, mmmmm! The service is great and the price isn’t too bad. This spot is only open for seafood buffet 2 days a week! THATSIT?! [Minus 1 star] For now, this will have to be my spot for when I get that craving for a seafood buffet in Coos Bay/North Bend, OR.

After going to the Portside seafood buffet(in Charleston) on Fridays nights, we had intended to go back but found out that they have not been offering that buffet option the entire summer. A bit bummed out, we scouted out for another Friday night seafood buffet in the Coos Bay area and found the Saw Blade buffet at Mill Casino for $ 24.99/person. The price was a bit steep but it has a bunch of highlights like plenty of dungenous crab(you could tell that it had previously been frozen but it wasn’t bad), apple struddle, fried oysters, oysters in the shell, clams/muscles, fish of the day, seafood jambalaya, and smoked salmon. The non-seafood highlight of the entire buffet was the spectacular and perfect cooked prime rib. It was by far the best buffet prime rib I’ve tasted(including all those elaborate Las Vegas ones I’ve been to). If I could find another seafood buffet in Bend/Coos Bay, I would definitely do it but Mill Casino will lead the pack for now with their Friday/Saturday night seafood buffet option.
