Just awful. I would say I’ve dealt with James Cervelli several times, but it’s hard to deal with someone who seems incapable of responding to emails, voicemail and even in the case of my wife, who got tired of waiting for any action to a reasonable request — a personal visit. Only when I got angry with him, did he actually call me, for which I give him one shiny star. Looking at the reviews here, I really think they should consider another line of business. Apart from Donna, everyone gave them a single star — at least they’re consistent in their level of awfulness.

This management company is terrible. They took over for a prior management company who wasn’t handling issues in our building. I didn’t think it was possible for us to end up with a company that’s even worse than the last. They are not responsive to calls or valid complaints from tenants.
First off, the elevator in our buidling has been out for days. I called the Property Manager Tom Pahos. He was rude, inconsiderate, agressive and unprofessional. I found his demeanor to be egregious. He stated that the elevator would be out indefintely and claimed our association has no money to pay for repairs. We have pregnant, elderly, parents with infants and disabled people in our building having to climb up stairs is unnacceptable.
The snow removal left much to be desired when entering or leaving the building you have to go over a mound of snow. In addition, calls were made by tenants regarding lights out in the garage. Although Tom P. was called and made aware of these issues he would not address them unless the tenants reported it in an email. Lastly, the garage door closed on my car yesterday so the sensor is obviously not working. Again, another issue that will be ignored.
I’m outraged by this company. If you are looking to hire a management company steer clear of this one. Trust me you will be glad you did.

Tom Cervelli is the rudest man I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. As stated by another reviewer below, he does not know how to speak to people correctly. I wont go into too much detail but he was rude to me and another person in my company (who also does property management) after I had a small leak and needed the water to be shut off in my building for 5 minutes to replace a broken valve. He told us that speaking with us «was like talking to a 4 year old» because he didn’t explain things correctly. He was also willing to grant access to the main water line to a complete stranger but not to me (an owner). What sense does that make? He is a real jerk. I’ve never had a man speak to me, a female, the way he did. Avoid this company and take your business elsewhere — you will get the respect you deserve.

I’ve been a Cervelli Management tenant for a few years now and I figure it’s time to give some credit where it’s due.
As a chronic renter, I’ve had some bad landlords in my day but I can honestly say that Cervelli isn’t one of them. Their service calls are prompt and any issues I had were fixed in a timely manner. You can tell that their employees genuinely care about their jobs, because I’ve always found them to be helpful.

Horrendous. I’m moving out of my building because of them. Leaks in the roof. They don’t respond. Phone calls, emails, they don’t care. It’s been two weeks and they’ve still done nothing. When they send plumbers — they’re either no shows or more than an hour late. My super is impossible to find and also incompetent. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE.
