This place first started out with great customer service, very warm & attentive. This quickly changed for the worse. They don’t know how to greet customers, juggle a busy rush accordingly, & are too consumed with their own family and friends inside to pay attention to new customers in the area. We were hoping for a local deli to open up. At this point, I’d rather order online and avoid the crappy service.

It took them 2 hours to deliver our food! When I called after an hour and 15 mins, they told me they were very busy and our order just left the restaurant. Very disappointed.

How anyone can give this place anything lower than 5 stars is beyond me. I travel from Edgewater to eat lunch here few times a week. Obviously the food is great but the hospitality is unmatched. Antonio the owner sparks up a conversation with me every time and good luck not falling head over heals for the girl behind the counter with the killer smile.
Final thought: don’t think, just go here. You won’t regret it.

They reopened!!! Yay! And now they deliver wawaaaa! For authentic Italian this is a wonderful spot. Fresh mozzarella and antipasti, Italian kitchen goods and fresh menu daily oh and the sandwiches are delicious…

The place looks great and the food is better than ever. Bfast, sandwiches, hot plates or catering. All of it is on the gourmet level. Excellent.

Best Italian deli in town! The homemade mozzarella is out of this world! I usually get a grilled chicken sandwich with sharp provolone and peppers with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Delicious, and reasonably priced food. Stop by and see Giovanna and Anthony.

The people at Cuomo & Sons know how to make food. This Italian deli is a must try if you are in the area. I wondered into this establishment on a Monday (my day off). The place looks great from the inside. It is clean, and the décor gives u a very homey feeling, as if you are in your grandmothers kitchen. I ordered a sandwich because i was in a rush (Monday night football), but i noticed they had hot food as well. The sandwich met my expectations as all the cold cuts were fresh and you can also tell the fresh mozzarella was homemade.
I visited this place for a second time for lunch. Walked in and the place was packed, but i was able to find a place to sit and eat. The service was great as it was the first time. I ordered the meatloaf and my girlfriend had the chicken parm. The meatloaf was perfectly seasoned. I will return to this place more than often.
The area it is located in is a bit congested and parking is a bit hard to find.

Growing up in Staten Island, I’ve had my fair share of it Italian delicatessen and fresh mozzarella mom and pop shops. This by far. Is número uno on my list. I’ve been here 5x times since it’s grand reopening to a new location and each time I’ve been here… I am left speechless. This place is the place to be at lunch/​dinner. The mozzarella is typically fresh to order and the owners just love everyone that walks in. They live thru love and family and it’s seen in this shop at all hours. The energy here is so homey and welcoming… And I haven’t even started talking about the subs…
Each day they have different specials but Thursday… Thursday is the fresh roast beef w fresh mozzarella and gravy… Drool! This is probably the best roast beef sandwich in all of northern NJ. Come here and try it out for yourself.

By far the freshest and most delicious Italian food I’ve ever tasted in a long time. The most authentic dishes, with the freshest ingredients; the best part is that they load your plate with plenty of food for later as well as the next day. I have a hard time not eating here every day.

Stopped in for coffee the other morning and Antonio was hard at work on balls of mozzarella early. He gave me a piece to try and it was amazing, best mozz I’ve had. I’m sure the freshest as well being that he was in the middle of making it.
Everything looked great, I only had the bacon egg and cheese on a fresh roll because I was rushing out and that was good. I’ll be back for mozz and more!

I Love this deli! Giovanna is great! My favorite is the fresh mozzarella sandwich with tomatoes! There’s always different lunch specials, and what better way is there to finish it off than with a cannoli and an espresso. Can’t be beat! Highly recommend! They just reopened 2 doors down and it’s beautiful and they deliver! Oh what a happy day! I’m here everyday!

I have been a customer of this iconic establishment since 1956. They have now moved over 2 store fronts to their original location at 7709 Broadway.
The entire place is absolutely new and can only be compared to an original deli that could fit well into Little Italy or Park Avenue.
Opened yesterday after a total re-​model, and I wasn’t the first for breakfast at 8. I tried to be the first. But I did return again and enjoyed dinner at 7.
Just like the old days. Great family, great food, GREAT VALUE.
Fresh mozzarella and seafood salad, also try the eggplant in three different ways. The cold cuts and salads look excellent. The whole place is inviting.
Tomorrow sandwiches for the whole office. Cuomo’s just makes you happy.
