My girlfriend and I had a couple friends over who wanted to try some Chinese food. We just moved to the area and this establishment was just down the road from us so we figured we’d give it a try.
Uh yeah. First and last time.
Food wasn’t the best Chinese food I’ve had in my lifetime.
Dude, my girlfriend, my friends, and myself each shitted lime green the following morning. No exaggeration, each and every one of us were on toilets the following morning shitting buzz lighter…
Don’t do it, it’s not worth $$. Or the wtf moment you and your people’s will go thru the next morning lol

order frm this place, egg rolls was ok, but spicy chicken mix vegitable was yummi. lots of chinese take out fiod has similar taste, so cant really ask for too much

I was a little nervous ordering for the first time because I am a super picky eater, but the food was great! We ordered it to our hotel delivery was quick, and price was very reasonable.

I have been ordering from First Wok since they opened. Not only is their food great for take out, they are friendly people as well. They know me by name, they always get my order right, and deliveries have always been fast. They have excellent Mu Shu, yummy Lo Mein and I love their General Tso’s Bean Curd. Their food is not too salty and a fair price

In the area Unilocaling for Chinese. The worst Chinese I’ve ever had. No one in my family enjoyed any of their food. No one. Their spare ribs are sugar coated and dry. I mean actual sugar. I thought it was strange seeing a huge bag of sugar by entrance. Their pork fried rice super clumpy and no vegetables what so ever. Don’t even ask about pork, in PORK fried rice!!! I didn’t take pictures because the food was throw out so fast. We got old chicken wings. A total waste. Do not eat here. There will be no second tries for me here. Oh and found a hair in my rice to top it all off.

They Always serve a fresh plate of food. I have been ordering from here many years and have never been disappointed. Very Friendly customer service as well.

Rarely if ever do I give a business such a low rating. The food was the worse I’ve ever had. We ordered and there is no menu online or to refer to we just order items that we knew. The food was some of the worse Chinese food in the area. There was no flavor the dishes were full of peanuts and veggies… I ordered a full chicken dish there was no chicken in the dishes. Additionally the service took over an hour to arrive the food was cold. Needless to say we won’t make this our take out choice.

Cheap very quick delivery average American Chinese food, can’t go wrong when your in a rush…

This is absolutely the only Chinese place the beau and I order from! We have yet to get a bad order and their willingness to deliver to JC Heights is MEGA props!
Their food is great and even though it can take up for 40 – 45 mins for delivery it’s worth the wait. Staff is friendly and have never messed up and order.
All meals that we’ve order have been great. The only thing I wish they would add to the menu is scallion pancakes. Other than that this place is awesome!

We ordered cashew chicken and then prepared with left over chicken. The taste is bad and some of the chicken pieces are not cooked well. Extremely disappointed.

Stayed at nearby hotel, and must say the food is standard american Chinese, but everything is $ 5-​$ 9 with free super fast delivery. I would order from here again.

My family’s been in the Chinese food business for a long time. As a child, when I wasn’t at school or at home, I was in my family’s restaurant. I’ve been to pretty much every kind of Chinese food restaurant there is in America so I’d consider myself to be a good judge of Chinese food. I have different standards for each kind as well. For a place like this, I would classify First Wok as an Americanized, Chinese fast food shop. The place is small and crafted specifically for efficiency. What that really means is that there’s no need to take interior décor into consideration since you wouldn’t be eating there anyway (the shop specializes in take-​out orders and deliveries).
The food is about average for similar shops, and the speed at which they finish orders is about average as well. I ordered two things and they actually got my order wrong, or switched one of the items with someone else’s order. They were pretty friendly and tried to make some small talk while I was there. I was surprised to find that they use plastic containers that can be resealable, reuseable, and recyclable, for their main entrees. Aside from being very close to the hotel I was staying at, that was one of the positive traits I found for this shop. The price was pretty reasonable for the quality of food you’re getting, so I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the mood for the food offered here.

Found this on Unilocal a long time back with only a couple of 5-​star reviews. Decided to check it out and ordered some food for take-​out. It turned out pretty decent and the prices are very reasonable. Their hot and sour soup is good and I always get it. Singapore mei fun is also good and dumplings are okay. Some of the other stuff is just regular Chinenes take-​out quality. They also deliver for a $ 6 minimum, I think. Can’t beat that.
Parking is tricky as its only on 1 side of the street (in front of the restaurant) and if you happen to come from the other direction you’ll have to make an illegal u-​turn to park.

There is a reason why this place is five stars on Unilocal.This was my first time ordering and I was beyond pleased. The food was excellent, the service was quick, I could understand the person on the telephone, and the delivery person was a young man dressed more like a professional than a delivery boy. I will definitely be ordering from this place over and over again and suggest that you do so too.

This place makes some good food. I just wished they delivered to my work. No problem I guess sometimes you have to travel to great lengths for quality and quantity. WIN WIN in my book!!! Keep making more delicious FOOD PEOPLE OF FIRST WOK. Thank you.

Excellent take out Chinese food at a very reasonable price! This is the first place I ordered from after moving to the North Bergen area and couldn’t be more pleased. I highly recommend the home made brown rice.

We were staying at a local hotel, and they delivered to the room. I have to say I was actually pretty impressed. The food was reasonably priced, great portions (you get 8 steamed dumplings for $ 5, and the shrimp & vegetables was $ 10 and they gave you a fair amount of shrimp). The food was also excellent quality for Chinese (American version) food. I would definately eat here again.
