Cuban food plus a view of NYC? With reasonable prices? Shall I say more? Overall experience it was really good. Good portions for what you pay for, and the view is nice. Pitchers of sangria is worth it! I had passion fruit their most popular one.

This restaurant is fabulous! The food was good, reasonably priced and timely service. The environment was also perfect. Music wasn’t too loud, no obnoxious employees or managers. Overall great Spanish restaurant and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience!

This place is so cute, very nice décor and a great atmosphere. The food is incredible value and absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, we just ordered appetizers for two people and we couldn’t finish all of it. My first Cuban food experience and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended !

This place is excellent! Though I wasn’t too fond of the ceviche… I don’t understand why they make it with a sweet red sauce… never again. But the mofungo was great best I’ve ever had! The churasco was HEAVENLY! The guava bread pudding should’ve been served hot. The tres leche was not the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The drinks looked appetizing. It was PACKED we waited 2 hours to get in on Mothers Day but once again, it was worth it! Our waiter was great! Thank you for a wonderul experience!!!

Ok, I love good food and as someone who knows how to cook and knows Cuban Food this is not it sorry. I came here because of the reviews and wanted to try it with my boyfriend. The only thing good here was the drinks. Yes very good. The food sorry. The starters, we had the trio of empanadas, croqueta DE jamon. etc sorry but I know Goya frozen when I tasted and saw it. Then I had the shrimp with garlic sauce for dinner… really? You couldn’t buy fresh shrimp? That was frozen from the bag. I couldn’t get through the meal. It was horrible. They fool you with the decoration and make it look like it’s good food but it’s really not. Sorry 1 star not worth a cent!

I just took my wife to this place based on the recommendation of a very good friend of ours. The place was crowded and it took about 15 minutes to get seated considering the fact that we didn’t have a reservation. And we couldn’t get a reservation because it was overbooked. But once we sat down to eat, the food was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody in the north Jersey region.

Love the food!!! The ambiance here is great due to the décor and tropical feel. The food was excellent. We got the mofongo as a starter it was delicious with just enough garlic and onion and extra dipping sauce is a must. I also got the rope vieja, white rice and frijoles. Everything was plentiful and very well seasoned and cooked. The flavors here are awesome and every bite was as good as the first. Finished off with the tres leches cake… omg, can’t describe it, you just have to go experience it for yourself.

Love, Love, love RUMBACUBANA! Number one fan in the house here!!! First of all we drive close to 50 minutes just to get here. Amazing Cuban cuisine. Like grandmas cooking but better. My sister and i are regulars here at least once a week to dine. My favorite dish the fish filet in green sauce, oh God its just HEAVEN. Their black beans are delicious. I have ordered just about everything on the menu and all of it is just devine. The flan de queso is to die for. If the chef is single, i am proposing matrimony. I want to take you home so you can cook for me every day!!!.

Met up with some friends on a Tuesday night and surprisingly it was very busy. My husband and I drove to the wrong location so make sure you determine the location if you’re making plans with friends! This location was a lot night and the view from the second floor was phenomenal compared to the smaller location. Anyway, there is valet parking but they get flooded with cars so it takes a while for valet to go back and forth. Luckily for me, I had parking right across the street from the restaurant. The ambiance of the place is great, very unique with a dark décor and great for groups and hosting parties. We sat at a corner table looking out the window and the table was big enough to accommodate the portions of their food. Having never been there before, my husband and I ordered the appetizer that came with a little bit of everything. This is probably one of the better places I’ve been to asides from Casual Habana’s in Hackensack/New Milford. I ordered the ropa vieja which seems to be a popular dish that most people get. It’s basically the Barbacoa you get from chipotle in a shell of banana chips with salad on the side. The dish comes with only one side which I ordered the tostones. It came with four LARGE tostones which was MORE than enough. Next time I go back, I’m definitely tying the churrassco and getting a side of their rice. The sangrias were soooo good and sweet. We ordered the white AND red and from someone who prefers white wine, I thought the red sangria was amazing. The staff was also amazingly helpful and friendly. They were welcoming and productive when it comes to pleasing everyone. Our waiter came back to check on us every so often and there were waiters walking around sweeping up any messes on the floor which shows obvious signs that they keep the restaurant clean. Between four people, 2 appetizers and four main courses, and two pitchers of sangria, our bill came out to about a little over $ 100! For the price and the quality of food and the great service, this is a must go to place to try! I took one star off because parking really is a bitch and making reservations here is definitely ideal as it does get very busy. Being here on a Tuesday and saying its busy, I can’t even imagine how busy it gets on the weekends!

The place is cute and the prices are great. Churrasco was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The ceviche was very well made, big portion for a full entrée. Everything in the app sampler was good, tamal was empty, didn’t care for it. Last I loved the tostones, I hate when they are over cooked and these were on perfect. Sangria was delish, not syrupy, good amount of wine and other ingredients. Definitely not like some places where you feel like you are having juice. This place might be one of our new to go places

Love this place! From the food, prices, and the service… place gets packed at times and you gotta get lucky with the parking. And it also good for kids… I haven’t tried everything on the menu because I usually get the Lechon Asado… YUM! I always get it with plain olé rice n beans and it always hits the spot. You can’t go wrong with many dishes here… The only that’s a hit or miss is the wait for a table and the tres leche cake… the first time I ate the cake it was the best tres leche cake I’ve ever had! The last time I ate it — it was ok… felt like it was missing something… like um, sugar? Regardless, I love coming here!

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place. This one of my favorite Cuban restaurants in all of the land. Cute restaurant in the middle of 1&9. Although parking sometimes sucks, this place is worth it. Huge portions, great food, and extremely reasonable prices. The staff here is great. Very friendly, and always provide amazing service. Although they often just start speaking Spanish, once we get past the«No, I’m sorry, I don’t speak Spanish» part– the rest of the dining experience is always good. They give you these crackers with some ham spread… no idea what the spread is but its so good. Try not to get full off of it. The food here is authentic Cuban food very well prepared. Huge portions, you will not finish your meal. Even though the food is so large, don’t skip out on the apps because they have some amazing options. Cant go wrong with this place. If you come at night especially on a weekend, be prepared to wait. It gets PACKED!

The food here was awesome. My favorite dish is masitas de cerdo(pork chunks). Drinks are pretty good and the bartender is awesome with putting a little bit more alcohol in them! No weak drinks here! I had the mojito, excellent! Service wasn’t good probably because it was very busy today. Our waiter neglected us a couple of times, but overall the food was amazing and price was decent. Most likely I would return whenever I’m in the mood to eat Cuban.

This is by far the best Cuban place I’ve been to! My boss stumbled upon this on Unilocal since we were working in the area and it did not disappoint. We liked it so much, we took our staff there the following day. The service was great even during a busy lunch hour which is a huge plus for me. I ordered their roast chicken for $ 4.95 and it was a big portion and tasty. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely ambiance. Upon arrival, 5pm on a Saturday, we were seated fairly quickly. Our server was quite polite and brought us everything in a timely manner. The food was great. We started of with a mix appetizer, tasting as much as we could. The tamales were not that great, however, the beef empanadas were off the hook. I had arroz con pollo, which was a bit salty, but the sweet plantains balanced it well. My fiancé had the flank steak and it was cooked to a perfect medium. We left the restaurant around seven pm, and the valet was completely overloaded. Thank goodness we got there a little early.

I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time because I heard the food was outstanding. That is absolutely correct! I enjoyed a delicious salad with assorted lettuce, onions, tomatoes dressed with balsamic vinegar and oil. I decided on a large portion of perfectly grilled skirt steak with the salad. The seasoning of the meat was out of this world! I also enjoyed the perfect cup of hot tea and excellent service from a server and the hostess. The ambience of the restaurant really makes you think that you’re in Cuba or any other southern American or Central American venue. The Decour was rustic and homey with lots of plants all about the restaurant and terrific music playing. The music was festive but not intrusive, just delightful. I also witnessed the staff singing happy birthday to a diner that was sitting nearby. I really enjoyed that. I look forward to going there again with a larger party so I can take in the atmosphere and good food again.

I had to update my review. This place has earned the extra star I am giving it. The service is great, the food is delicious and comes in large portions and three of us ate for under $ 50 including tax, tip and one beer. While no Cuban restaurant compares to my grandmothers cooking(she was a chef in Cuba) this place is incredibly good.
