On our way from the Twin Cities to the north shore we stopped in North Branch for a quick bite. Thanks to Unilocal we skipped the Denny’s and McDonalds junk and went right for the delightful China Taste. Quick, friendly and very good quality. I live in Minneapolis and none of the 3 or 4 Chinese takeout places nearby can hold a candle to China Taste in North Branch. Too bad they don’t deliver to Mpls!

This is a hole-​in-​the-​wall carry out with some table service. But the food is excellent, especially for the price. I’ve seen similar places that serve canned stuff, all using the same sauce. Not here.
The fried dumplings are fresh made and tasty. Hot and sour soup is delightfully both. Hunan beef was terrific.

I had this with a friend the other day. It was fantastic and the sesame chicken was very tasty. Overall, the food we got for the price was awesome and I was very happy with it. I’ll be frequenting this place in the future.

This place is delicious! We have eaten here quite a bit, and we usually come from Cambridge and skip the chinese places there in order to come here. Very good food for the area– and the people here are pretty nice. Very small area if you wanted to eat in, as most people order there, and take it home. I really do like the food here. And hey! Our family has not gotten sick here even once! =) It’s obviously not «traditional» Chinese cuisine. but very good American Chinese cuisine! Very consistent in quality, too. You won’t be upset if you have to make the drive from a nearby city that has less than ideal Chinese food options.

I’ve oredered many times and have never had anything bad. Sczehwan beef, orange chicken, veggie egg foo young. The best Chinese within 30 miles. They do no MSG if you request it.
