I have lived at Hidden lake since April of 2015. The leasing process was easy and thought the office staff was professional and easy to work with. The monthly rent is on par with the rest of the area. I only had one maintenance issue (AC) and they were quick to respond in less than 24 hrs. I do think the recreation fee is nonsense and they should notify you if maintenance needs to enter your apartment which they don’t. Overall those complaints aren’t a big deal to me. The kitchen is outdated and you will have to pay extra for a modern unit. All that being said, the tenants are nice, the complex is safe, I never hear my neighbors etc. This whole area is expensive so I wont make a big deal about what seems to be a hefty price for a 1br in central jersey. I would recommend Hidden Lake to those who can afford it.

RUN FAST!!!
This place it a total RIP OFF!!!
Old ass kitchen & Appliance (over 25yrs old). If you want a Apt with modern Appliance you’ll pay $$$$.
If you do move in make sure the AC is newer not the old ass GE unit. it will Kill your electric bill.
Fees are way too much for pool use & pets
maintenance men are horrible & very Lazy.
The Gen. Mgr Robin C. at this complex is horrible.
The girls in this Office just as bad too. They sidebar gossip & talk about the tennants right in front of you.
You’ll see trash everywhere & nobody cleans up.
you have to Give them 3 months notice if you don’t they will charge you 2 months rent & $ 200. in advertising fees & keep you deposit.
Do yourself a Favor & stay away
This place is owned by MK Properties & they will drain you out of you $$$$$$$$.
