North Brunswick Cobbler Shop

I had visited the store a few times, it is a mess like the others said and the guy has no system. However, I found him to complete a meticulous job. He was very sharp in touching up the shoes, which I needed heels, bottom sole, and some surface touch up. Between my mother and I, we had about 10 pairs down, and I had to commend on his job well done.
If you can bypass the disorganization, he could use a secretary, I think via quality of work, I’d give him a A+. I have not encounter anyone who does a better job than he.

Pretty much what everyone else said, the place is a mess. The mess wouldn’t be a problem if the guy had a system that worked. I dropped a pair of shoes off to get resoled, got my ticket, came back at the time he said it would be ready & he said he needed more time. When I finally got my shoes, and started wearing them, the sole started coming off after a few wears. When I realized he had just glued on the new sole I was a little upset & decided to just shoe-​goo them back on myself rather than go back. My girlfriend has gotten taps put on a pair of her boots on two occasions, & on both occasions the taps started to fall off after a few days. Granted when she went back, he fixed them free of charge which is good. I also think he kind of just makes up the prices too though.

Stay away! My wife needed a zipper fixed on her bag. The cobbler said it would not be a problem and to come back in 1 week. She went back and the bag was not touched, he said he had options for the zipper color. No issue, my wife picked a color. He said come back in 3 days. She returned in another week and the cobbler again said it was not done. He made up some color issue again. She wife told him they already had this conversation and took the bag back. We will go somewhere else. From what my wife said there are TONS of items laying around. Not sure how organized he is or how much work he really gets done. Either way, find somewhere else to go.

This place is a hot F***ing mess. Shoes everywhere, shoes on every surface, counter, floor, racks, ceiling fan… no joke. The guy has no system. I dropped of some boots to have the heel redone and a standard shine. He took my shoes and gave me a ticket. I returned a few days later. He did not remember me, he lost my shoes and the ticket meant nothing. I waited for 20 minutes while he sifted through piles and piles of shoes looking for mine. For a $ 275 pair boots I was not leaving that place without them. He finally found them thank god but he had not even touched them. So I waited another 10 minutes for him to do the work.
I paid $ 8…I think he just made that up.
