The service and my vehicle were great. The agent was kind enough to go back and retrieve my personal keys as I had accidentally left them on the rental car key ring. They were fast, courteous and had an excellent selection of cars. I’ll definitely be back as this is the airport I fly into when coming home.

I rented a car from this location and was as pleased as one can be when renting a car. The employee was pleasant and friendly. She went out of here way to explain everything to me with a positive attitude and maintained a smile (which is nice after traveling all day). All necessary paperwork was pre-staged and my time at the counter was kept to a minimum.

The entire process, booking on line, completing the transaction at the desk in the terminal, finding and driving the car, and the return were completed without a hitch. I rent a car weekly to travel for business. I selected National Car Rental because their rewards program is outstanding and the selection of vehicles is always first rate. I live near Pittsburgh, but make the drive over to Canton-Akron Airport because the service I receive from the staff at THIS location is positively beyond exceptional! Everyone I have dealt with at the CAK location treats their customers as they would treat their own families. I endorse this location and this company above any I have ever dealt with.

Outstanding customer service at this location. I would like to give a huge THANKS to a guy named Mo that works there. I was on a trip to Akron/Canton last week and rented a car from National (I’m a frequent traveler and use National all the time — always very pleased with them).
When I returned the car, I accidentally left some important valuables in the car. I didn’t realize this until I got to my home airport. I called the National location at this airport and spoke to a guy name Mo. I explained what I left in the car. He said he would check with their lost & found and call be back promptly. Mo called me back within 15 minutes, told me he had located the items I had left in the car, and then sent the items back to me via FedEx that I received a couple of days later. This was a huge relief. I sincerely thank Mo and National for their excellent customer service.

I’ve pretty much had it with the other rental companies. I’ve always had good luck with National and their cars are always nice and clean. The customer service I received at this location was well beyond expectation. A tip of the hat to the manager at this location.

No aisle at this location, but they did give me a choice of a handful of cars at the counter, all upgrades over my midsize reservation. Cars all seemed to meet the National standard (new, clean).
It’s extremely convenient to be able to pick up your luggage and be out the door and in your car in seconds. This is more a compliment to the airport than the rental companies, but still very nice.

The staff at the National Car Rental desk at Akron/Canton Airport always offers the highest customer service and makes the car rental process easy. As I always pre-book my reservation, a car is always waiting for me and the staff routinely provides me with an option of several different vehicles that might be available. The cars are consistently clean and newer models and the experience from check-in to returning the vehicle is as simple as it can get. I certainly recommend without reservation the National Car Rental at Akron/Canton Airport.

I have used National several times now and could not be happier with the experience.
They first bailed me out in Los Angeles when the other rental company, where we had a reservation, could not accomodate me, or the other 50 people in line!
I walked up to National and they were friendly and courteous and got me into a car rapidly.
From that day I decided I would always use National and I have not been disappointed.
The Emerald Club makes things even easier!!!
I wish more companies would provide this level of customer service.

Great staff, and a fantastic selection of new cars lined up in the Emerald Executive row to choose from.
Tawny was exceptionally helpful at the rental counter, letting me have the pick of the lot when I walked up with my reservation number in hand. Mindy out on the lot was glad to help me out with showing me around the vehicle on my way out and reminding me to check for anything I’d left the next day when I came back.
Best of all — getting to drive the brand new Jeep in frost-covered, late-spring Ohio.
One more tip — be sure to choose the gas-fill option at the counter. National here seems to have dramatically better per-gallon pricing than any local service station, and you’ll definitely save money on your trip by doing this.
