This place may be a bit pricey but soooooo worth the money. Seriously such good quality ingredients and flavor combinations that you won’t find in the area. You can’t really compare it to other pizza places as it is in a class all its own!

I heard so many good things about this place, I’m very disappointed. I’ll start with the good though, we ordered an artisan pizza for pick up and it was really good. But for lunch one day I ordered a sub sandwich and fries for delivery. The guy said delivery was 45 minutes. No problem. An hour and a half later, no delivery. I called and asked, they said they had to restart their oven but delivery was on its way. No «I’m sorry». Sandwich finally came, it was cold, bread was hard and the ratio of bread to meat was totally unfair. The«fries» were about 5 homemade potato chips. Those were really good but I wish they had been warm. Subway could have made me a better sandwich. $ 11.99 later I’m not pleased.

If it had been dark, or raining, or terrorist attacking, I probably wouldn’t have gone here. That’s because boogie mans are known far to well for lurking unseen in the middle of large deserted parking lots. Also Sol Pie Pizza is located beside the unpleasantly ominous BMV.(Always some rude memories there.) Besides the location, it was pretty good. Except for the continuation of the foreboding parking lot atmosphere into the inside. Actually if the place would have been busy, instead of just the two other customers inside, it would have made all the difference. It does have some pleasant design touches versus the lackluster style of many pizza shops. But as it was, I was a bit relieved to make my exodus; as I was afraid some looming machine would suddenly attack from the many hums and beeps of the kitchen, enveloping me in its doughy grasp. I decided on a personal size pizza. Plain and simple, with cheese, «Old Style Pepperoni» and banana peppers. That was the good part, and is always the good part about my ventures into unknown territory. The food, is Good. Admittedly, it was a bit greasy; but their use of quality ingredients didn’t make me feel like I was eating heart attack by slice. Also I managed to burn the roof of my mouth on some molten pizza slice. Man, maybe I should have tried this place on a different, less fateful day.

My favorite pizza place in North Canton area. Different and delicious. Also the most seriously disorganized pizza place around. Always expect to wait way beyond estimated time, that is if they ever pick up the line to take your order. Forget delivery. I have even tried calling way ahead and setting time for pickup. Still not ready. Best pizza though just prepare to be frustrated by the experience.

Amazing wonderful fresh food but waited over an hour for it. And they said they would bring water to our table and had to be reminded when they finally brought our food. They seemed seriously understaffed and overwhelmed. There only a few tables and no restrooms. Will definitely get food from there again but will do take out and call way ahead. Loved the arugula salad and florentine pizza on sprouted grain crust.

We got a large pizza, a medium pizza and a «family» salad(that fed 3 of us) and the cost was $ 70.00!!! Are you kidding me. The salad was $ 32.00. I sent my son to pick it up. I would never had paid that. The salad was good. The pizza crust was excellent. I will never pay that much again, not worth it!

Hidden gem in a strip mall. Amazing food and company beliefs. Local, organic and delicious. We stopped by looking for something different but craving pizza and we were not disappointed. Small area to order and dine in, which we did. But the real highlight was the food. We tried a slew of things including the organic red potato wedges that were more like jojos than anything and fabulous, cheesy bread(another hit), then the Daydreamer pizza(!!!), and the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs but we were glad to try everything out. We will definitely be back!

I really like what’s going on at SOL Pie Pizza. Fresh, local, high quality ingredients in their product at a reasonable price. Their«Daydreamer» artisan pizza, which is described on the menu as the«4th best pizza in the Midwest» is a symphony of flavors that combine to make music in your mouth. If «artisan style» pizza doesn’t float your boat, and you prefer your pie to be more simple in it’s construction, you cannot go wrong with a simple pepperoni and sausage pizza, either. They do have daily specials if you check their website and Facebook pages, too. I live in Canal Fulton, where the ratio of pizza shops to citizens is 2:1(well…maybe not that extreme) and will make the extra drive to SOL. Yes, it’s worth it!

Believe the hype. This was some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. The organic sauce was really delicious — and yes, it was the perfect balance of sweetness and savory attributes. We ordered a large with banana peppers and mushrooms. The peppers were really outstanding and the mushrooms were also very good. They also layered the toppings on and did not skimp on them. The same goes for the cheese. Also, I thought the crust was really exceptional. We also ordered the basket of organic red potato breaded fries. They were seasoned very nicely without being too salty, had just the right level of crispness, and weren’t greasy. The portion for the basket was large, so good thing it was a «cheat day.» Do yourself a huge favor and go get some wonderful pizza pie. You won’t be disappointed.

this has been our go-to pizza place for over two years. Not sure what is going on but the pizza we got tonight was disgusting. The margherita pizza had a quarter inch layer of cheese(in some places thicker) which made the dough underneath seriously undercooked. The yummy cherry tomatoes that are normally on the pizza were replaced with run on the mill garden tomatoes that were cut in thick chunks. After this experience, I doubt we’ll be returning to purchase another $ 20/ten slice pizza. very disappointed

Best pizza in north canton. Employees are always friendly as well. The pizza is always made so good and fresh. Prices are also reasonable for what you get. Always my number one choice for pizza.

ordered carry out from sol pie. Food was excellent! Fresh ingredients and wonderful menu. My complaint is that the same guy taking $$ and answering phone is putting food together with bare hands and no hand washing. Advise to management is to separate money handlers from food prep.

I had my first taste of SOL pie pizza last night and it was amazing. The taste was so fresh and flavorful. We ordered a medium supreme pizza and it was as beautiful to look at as the taste. Very fresh. It’s been years since I ordered a pizza(I usually just make my own) but we were too exhausted to cook after working in the yard all day. Since I live less that 2 minutes away from this gem I decided to try it. This pizza was amazing. The staff was courteous and pleasant. If you are asking yourself«just how good can a pizza get?» then do yourself a favor and try one. You will be going back

This is a hidden gem in North Canton! I order from here a few times a month, and it is always fantastic. It’s an informed foodies’s dream– menu items are identified as organic, natural, local, gmo free etc and whatever isn’t they are working on sourcing to get the highest quality ingredients. Everything is fresh, full of flavor and creative, especially the artisan pizza of the month. I’m a huge fan of the margarita pizza, love the basil and that balsamic drizzle, the arugula salad is so tasty the lemon dressing is the best, meat lovers try the classic carnivore pizza with four kinds of meats(their Ohio maple glazed bacon is the bomb). I’ve tried many different items and I’ve never been disappointed!

I’m so happy to have found SOL pizza! For starters they have vegan options which is awesome. Almost their entire menu is natural/organic hence the name SOL(sustainable, organic, local). My husband is not as «into» the whole health food thing like but when he told me it was literally some of the best pizza he’d ever tasted I told him its because they use real ingredients(nothing like you’d get at gross chain pizza places). This is seriously our favorite new place to eat because the food is so good!!! Although it can be confusing because when you call to order they do answer the phone as ermannos, so I’m not sure if they are in the process of changing their name? Anyways, if your looking for a good pizza joint in the area and aren’t a fan of «chain» pizza check out SOL!

I am absolutely blown away that I have lived here my whole life and love good food and love great pizza and have never eaten here. This is the best pizza in the region, especially the specialty pizzas. The Ingredients are local seasonal organic on these. Their dough is aged three days and it has a nice texture and sweetness. They do a monthly artisan pizza and the maize valley one this month was incredible with seasoned sausage, sweet corn, sweet yellow peppers, hot pepper butter as a sauce, candy onions and green peppers. Delicious. The Daydreamer was amazing: Genoa Salami, Caramelized Red Onions, Roasted Red Peppers, Italian Meatballs, Mozzarella & Provolone and Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Topped with Maple Glazed Bacon and Organic Local Basil. An absolute masterpiece of flavor. There are only a couple tables to sit and eat. It is really a carry out place. The salads are great too. This food is on the level of Dewey’s in Cleveland and it deserves a great full service restaurant in a prime location. It is in a sleepy plaza in North Canton but worth checking out.
