So honest moment… I’ve always thought this place was just okay. But it’s cheap and quick so How could you pass them up? I stopped in on Saturday morning and the place was busy and packed with plenty of locals who were all greeted by name. So that was a nice touch. Our waitress was kind and kept our drinks refilled. I ordered one of the combinations plates. It had sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy. It was(like I assumed) just okay. It could have been warmer, used a little more seasoning etc… just nothing that really knocked my socks off. Sure it’s quick breakfast but if there’s another option I’d go there!

Usually, Cracker Barrel is pretty so so, but this visit was severely lacking. By the numbers… 25: minutes it took before being seated for walking in at 1pm. Ok, tolerable. 45: minutos it took for our food to arrive, which felt like an eternity. It also took most of this time period for the waiter to realize that there wasn’t any chicken noodle soup today and to inform us of that. 6: number of times that the two of each took a crack at that brain teaser game with the pegs on the table. 15: percent tip that the waiter barely deserved bc he forgot the lemon I asked for with the water, took over 5 minutes to bring a replacement soup spoon bc the first one he had was dirty, and despite writing down my order of a medium well cheeseburger, served up a bone dry well done bacon cheeseburger(ok, knocking the kitchen on this one too).

Great food! I always enjoy coming to any Cracker Barrel when I am out of California. Today I had the pork chop with eggs. Outstanding! You can never go wrong with Cracker Barrel. Many many choices…

Today’s service was below sub par and while at the register paying for good that didn’t come out on time or correct, I overheard another guest saying how awful her experience was. When we got the managers attention she told us that out serve was not«normally this bad». So she’s bad but you all excuse her behavior. When guest choose to go and have a dining experience, they except for the experience to pleasant and enjoyable. Not the case on this day with this server. The manager replaced our server with another person, who honestly had been helping all along except to take our order and present our bill. So for the secondary server they get 2 stars. Thanks to the Irmo location for being awesome, because of this was first ever experience, there would never be a second.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Cracker Barrel. We never once had to ask for our server because she was already on point and even other servers were making sure we were taken care of. Food is to die for.

Cracker Barrel is a great place to eat. My mom-in-law didn’t feel like cooking breakfast so we came to eat here. Huge portions, good food, and good coffee. Hashbrown Casserole is a must!

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorites, however I disappointed with the quality of food at this particular location. The biscuits were overcooked, country fried steak was way undercooked, grits were very runny, hash brown casserole was dried out, and fried apples were completely mush. I love Cracker Barrel but I felt obligated to let them and consumers know. Btw service was fast and easy, no complaints there.

By far this is one of the best breakfast spots I’ve tried. The food is great, the people are even better and damn did I mention that the food is great!!! Pancakes were delicious, soft, buttery filled with blueberries, eggs cheese, grits, steak and potatoes. I’ve got to try this again, and I need to get more of their menu into my tummy.

Great atmosphere, great food, and quick service. My only issue was that the plumbing was out. That should have been fixed before they were allowed to open.

Good food, good price. You always get what you ask for, no surprises. The service you get spends on the server. Most are very good. If you want stick to your stomach food, this is it. The best part is the store. You can find candy that you knew as a kid, although much more in cost then when you were a kid. It’s a great place to visit and eat. Frank G

This may have been the worst meal and service I’ve experienced in 3 years. How does a Cracker Barrel run out of 1) Mashed Potatoes, 2) Cornbread, and 3) Ribs? And baked potatoes were available but forgotten, and the fries came with out bill. Comical and maddening.

Went back to eat here last night with my wife. Much better than last time. Service was fast and the waitress was very attentive. Food was fresh and hot when served and I even bought dessert. If the service stays like this at this location, I will be coming here rather than having to drive all the way to Mt Pleasant.

This is my old man Favorite breakfast restaurant. Regardless, where his travels lands him. He always go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. He enjoyed Southern fried catfish, grits, and eggs. I ordered Multi berries pancakes and pork sauage. The food was simply delicious! As we enjoyed our time there. Everyone from the gorgeous young lady that greeters us as we arrived. To our friendly waitress and the manager his self. Were all polite and professional. FYI, the Yankees Candle car fresher are on sale. They smells AWESOME! !

Cracker Barrel is usually ALWAYS on par… but not this location. I order a menu item that I have eaten many times before at various locations across the country, but this time I was very disappointed

How could you not love this restaurant!!! I am usually seeking out trendy, farm to table type restaurants. I live in San Diego now and don’t have a shortage of those note! But if there is one restaurant I miss from time to time it’s Cracker Barrel! I think it’s just nostalgic and reminds me of home and there are none in San Diego so I just love to reminisce! But this is a great restaurant and how awesome is the little country store? I love going here for breakfast when I’m back in town!

love love love this place… i really go there just for breakfast. traditional favourites is what i go for. The icing on the cake is fried apples. no words can explain what i feel when eating. Service is always excellent. The little gift shop at the restaurant is a plus you can always pass time at while waiting to be seated

Just not good, grits are not fresh but sit under a hot light. Flavorless. This was my second time going here and both times there was a lot left to be desired. The service is great, but the food it disgusting. I had to send my pancakes back because they had that ring around the outside(meaning the pan was to hot and hat to much oil and the dough fried) they were dripping with grease. The eggs are yuck just eggs in a pan, the bacon was okay and the coffee is just watery. I don’t think we will go back I tried something new each time i went, and it’s just a nice place to enjoy breakfast.

I love going here. When my family comes into town they love it too. a few weeks ago my mother came to visit me and we went shopping at the cracker barrel. The cracker barrel will ship things anywhere in the us that you buy from their store. My mother purchased a bunch of stuff on clearance and got it shipped to another state. When she got the box a few things where broken. She called the cracker barrel and they gave her a refund for the items she said were broke. It was not the stores fault but they went out of their way to make my mother happy. Lets just say this store has earned out loyalty!!! Thanks!!! The staff are awesome and the food it great!

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Old Country Store, but this specific location was not great. My poached eggs came out rock hard after ordering them soft and several items we ordered came out late. Something was off with the timing of the kitchen. Despite the issues, we enjoyed our breakfast. The Cracker Barrel is great for customizing exactly what you want. Try the turkey sausage patties with poached eggs and grits!

Food was standard Cracker Barrel. Service and restaurant itself was subpar to say the least. Worst Cracker Barrel I’ve been to.

An exciting check-in for a city girl like me. HUGE menu, HUGE tables, HUGE people… we’re in the south, yes we are! Standard breakfast and brunch fare for the south. Loved it, played the game with the flags in the triangle, felt initiated into country life.

This is maybe the fourth time I’ve been to a Cracker Barrel restaurant during one of my vacations around the U.S. I’ve always thought the place was so cute and charming from all the rocking chairs that sit outside on the porch to the great country store inside that sells unique items, gifts, and products. I came for dinner and had the fried catfish with mac and cheese and the hash brown casserole for sides along with a biscuit and a cornbread muffin. The food was good and Debbie, the server, was extra nice, courteous, accommodating, helpful, and attentive. You don’t come across many servers like her! At the country store, I couldn’t leave without buying a Moon Pie and the Goo Goo candies caught my eye which reminded me of when I visited Nashville in the past. Kids and adults alike would enjoy browsing the shelves for various old time/unique sodas and candies.
