Denny’s

I’ve had better food! Denise our waitress was awesome. The manager sat on her behind the whole time! Two tables came in and had to wait for someone to seat them… cuz the waitresses (2) of them were busy and the manager was sitting at a table yacking! Very unprofessional!

You don’t go to Denny’s for fine dining. You go here because you have a craving for something that isn’t good for you, and the Waffle House was too busy or too far away to satisfy you. The food was just ok and the service was ok as well. Nothing spectacular and they weren’t really that busy, but we had to wait longer than was comfortable for our bill, and when she came with the bill, she hadn’t even asked if we wanted dessert, so she had to go redo the bill when we ordered something and seemed frustrated by that.

I haven’t been to a Denny’s for years before coming here and I must say it was a pretty good experience. The place was very clean, the service was great and the food came out quickly. I ordered off of the breakfast menu and enjoyed it a lot. I don’t have any complaints and will definitely go back.

Was not impressed! Came here after a concert at the convention center looking for a late night snack. Tons of empty tables we ended up seating ourselves since the wait staff acted like they didn’t know what to do. We were seated and ordered our food. We waited for an hour for 6 skillets to land on our table. Needless to say roughly 20 people ended up walking out due to no service for an extended period of time. I highly recommend going anywhere else after a concert at the convention center. Trust me you we will not be back ever!

My first time at Denny’s. It was ok. Not AWESOME, but not bad either. A step above your typical diner food, which I guess is the point. My waitress, I wish I remember her name, was very nice. It was her birthday so we gave her an extra tip.
Love the 2,4,6,8 menu. Biggest selling point for me. We were able to satisfy 10 different people in one setting without breaking the bank. I did like my Quesadilla burger with fries though. It was on the $ 6 menu. And the pancake puppies were a saving grace as well. Very delicious.

This is basic (Which is good) Denny’s. It will not let you down. I will say they have a new Burger selection that is out of the world. It appears they are trying to liven up the menu a little and it is working. Give this place a try.

My husband and I were seated right away on a Sunday morning, about 1045, and our server was very attentive and took our drink and food orders in a timely manner. I got the Santa Fe skillet, which I hadn’t gotten before, and my husband built his own grand slam. We both received our food fairly quickly and we both enjoyed our choices! Denny’s is one of our favorite chain restaurants to visit when we want to have a wide variety of entrees to choose from.

Slow service. Mediocre food. The whole place has a feel like it has been smoked in for decades. The tables, chairs, walls, etc have a sort of sticky residue on them and the place smells like a stale, cigarette ash tray. Smokers probably don’t notice but for non-​smokers this place will creep you out.
Don’t go early in the morning on weekends because the place will have obnoxious drunk people in there who’ve been up all night and are loud and curse a lot.
Make sure you compare your receipt to the menu. They tried to overcharge me.

Ordered the grand slam the pancakes was cold and the bacon had no taste. The coffee was pricey and was also cold and old, we had to ask for a fresh pot.
We also had the ultimate skillet that said grilled sausage that was a lie it was sausage links cut up. Will not be going back there.

This was one of the worst meals. Ordered a quesadilla. Was not told that they were out of sour cream. Instead, I got ranch dressing. And, very little cheese in them. Another person with me tried to order something with bananas. No bananas. Then, the waitress disappeared. No service.
I know that this is a cheap place to eat. But, it should at least edible.

Always a crowd pleaser. Lumberjack slam ftw. Love denny’s. Cheap and great. I search them out when i travel and eat there at least once. Been to this location a few times and never a complaint.

Very average experience. Tasteless coffee.

Very slow service. Good food especially meat lovers omelette.

Food:
Pretty good! Usually they are always accommodating to whatever substitute you want and everything I have had is very flavorful. They even have some healthy options.
Atmosphere:
Pos– Private-​like booths, room for large parties, good music playing
Negs– Gets smoky late night due to the smoking section across the restaurant
Service:
Ask for Rachel or Kitty. They are the best & literally go above and beyond to give you the best experience possible. We go there every Thursday & they treat us right! They know just about all 15 of our names, and what we normally order to eat AND drink! You won’t find that service many places! Especially at 24 hour chain restaurants!
Conclusion:
Id say its much better than the Dennys on Ashley Phosphate & I would eat here if I was passing through late night looking for some good flavor and sweet service.

The pancakes were good the grits were ok but the vanillla shake was good and they gave me extra aswell.
