I’ve been to the Dollar General here a few doors down for like 10 years and just thought this place would be too pricey for me to get a haircut here. I walked in a couple mos. ago on a whim and a nice, attractive lady named Denise had a client that was a no show and was able to cut & thin out my layers. I decided to come back since this is a very convenient location for me(in the strip shopping center by Ollies in N. Charleston) and her schedule Tues-Sat is convenient for me. The salon is pleasant inside and full of seasoned stylists, most of which have been renting booths here as long as the salon’s existence(about 15 years). Prices are a little higher than SuperCuts or Walmart, but those walk-in places are hit and miss with the quality of haircuts and who you might get. I have always believed a good stylist should have an attractive, stylish appearance? They are appointments only unless someone happens to be available.
