I went to the outlet to buy a birthday present with a coworker on lunch break and realized that some retailers still have some unethical policies. I agree with Amanda on her feedback of the place. 1. They were indeed very pushy. The second we walked in, we were approached via several sales ladies. I asked one that I wanted to look around and she just followed us and wouldn’t leave us alone. 2. I finally walked out of there with ~$ 250 worth of merchandise: a purse, matching wallet and a cleaning lotion for the purse. I never bought wife a MK so I took the risk. Before checkout, I asked specifically if we could return and get a refund it if she doesn’t like it. Yes was the answer I received. 3. Turns out, that she didn’t like it, hence why she doesn’t own nothing outside of LV or Coach. I gave her the receipt and she returned it, OR tried. When she walked in the store, the salesperson bombarded her with sales pitches, product descriptions and finally after 10 minutes processed my Store Credit. I was not told that all sales are final and that returns are only for store credit. It seems like a scam to me for not disclosing this prior to the sale especially when I asked.

I stopped in to have a watch resized and decided to poke around while I was at it. The pros are that the staff seems eager to help and seems to know their products. Unfortunately, the biggest con is that these are either the most annoying salespeople in the world or they work on commission. I felt attacked by every single employee in the store. If it were just one, fine, but it felt like they were fighting over the sale which just seems unprofessional(and annoying). I couldn’t even walk to look for a minute before being hounded again. I understand needing to make a sale, but I had no time to look or think about anything since I was constantly talking to a sales person. Also, they do not do returns. They only do exchanges for store credit, which for whatever reason seems wrong to me on something like a handbag. But, that’s just my opinion. Their prices seem fair but I would say if you are looking for a great deal here, you won’t find one. Definitely check out TJMaxx for a steal instead!
