Great espresso drinks — the cappuccino was great and«wet» as ordered. The BLT and veggie wrap were also excellent. The space is comfortable, nice and quiet with jazz playing in the background.

Great coffee! I prefer freshly roasted coffee only. That’s why it was my choise. I’ve taken some amount of beens to use at home. And also, of course, had a wonderfull americano in Adbibo Coffee Shop & Roasterie. I also like their home-made bakery. My favourite one is their muffin. I’ve just leave 4 stars because of their location.

Great coffee. Been several times. Nice and friendly staff. Coffee was so good I started ordering on a regular basis. Who needs Starbucks when I can get adbibo? Not me!

Thanks to Unilocal I found this wonderful café on our drive to Florida. The barista was very knowledgable and suggested my wife try the Tanzania blend which is a customer favorite. My wife loved it. I had a cortardo which was one of the best I’ve had during the past year. I consider myself an espresso snob, and try to find good espresso cafes. I will definitely be back on our ride back to Mass in April

This coffee shoppe didn’t get 4 stars because of location, that’s for sure. But it is excellent and 5 stars is not out of question. It’s next to the Wells Fargo bank on the south side of Midlothian twp. It’s in back or at least on the side of the building, just east of the Koger center. You know you’re in coffee heaven the moment you get close to the building. They do the roasting on site. BTW, the space is very large. So is the area to drink your unique coffee, read the paper, or use the wi-fi. Take plenty of time looking at their pasteries. After you’ve looked at them, you’ll buy one or two from a large selection. If you’re there for lunch you can order a wrap, grilled cheese or BLT, etc… and I might very well add… very, very, very reasonably priced. Adbibo has become my wife’s and my place to hang out when we have time. Mary and Mara, the Barista’s and terrific Barista’s, I might add, are so very pleasant & nice will quickly become your chef of the day. They prepare the sandwiches. Adbibo is pleasant, very open, quiet, light and wonderful with that magnificent coffee aroma, well, you’ll like it. Cappuccino, lattes and all the other unique items are available. They had either 3 – 4 daily coffees, mine was really good. It had elements of chocolate and pepper. They sell teas, my wife bought blueberry tea, and chocolate mint tea from amongst numerous choices. Don’t forget the Gluten free pastries, if that’s important to you and as I mentioned… wi-fi. We hung around and had an enjoyable lunch. Everything is reasonably priced, too.

Wonderful coffee, muffins, cookies, fruit bars — all home made! We also purchased free coffee for use at home, which is smooth and not bitter. Their sandwiches are excellent, too. I stop by at least once a week to get a coffee fix. Behind/next to Wells Fargo on Midlothian Turnpike. Chains don’t have a chance.

Meh. I came in here a few weeks ago to get a much-needed cup of coffee. I’ve driven by here a few times, but decided that was the day. I walked in to an empty, spacious, and very quiet room with two girls behind the counter. The lack of any noise(there was no music playing) and any other customers(it was 2:30 in the afternoon, and this is southside) made it feel much larger than it probably was. The girl behind the counter seemed upset that she had to get up and do work, and seemed to not want to wait for me to look at the menu or the pastry offerings. I ordered an iced americano, since it was about a billion degrees outside. It took about 5 minutes to make the drink, and, as soon as I was handed my drink, I wasn’t told«thank you» or «sugar and cream is over there.» Nope, the girl just handed it to me, no eye contact, and walked off. Whatever. I want coffee. After testing a sip, adding some sugar, and repeating until I got it right, I realized the problem was not that the drink wasn’t sweet. It just wasn’t good. Flavor-wise, it was nice — smooth and not bitter. But there just wasn’t enough flavor. It was like they pulled two single shots too quickly into a large cup and diluted it with way too much water. I drank maybe about half of it after I left. The rest went in the trash can — the ice diluted it so much that it just was dirty ice water at that point. I’ll give this place 2 stars based on the fact that there may be some times where this place seems more up to speed, especially judging by other reviews. My drink wasn’t entirely undrinkable. It was a quiet afternoon, and mistakes happen. But, that said, I can’t see this competing with any quality coffee shop within the city limits. For the area of town, this is certainly a welcome addition, as the only other options are Starbucks and Panera. But it’s got a long way to go, as a retail shop, to be a quality coffee shop.

I go out of my way to stop by here as much as I can. Friendly staff, great prices, and delicious coffee and baked goods! The red velvet & chocolate muffin is to die for, I hope they bring it back soon! If you aren’t exactly sure what you’re in the mood for, just tell the staff what you like and they’ll totally whip up something delicious!

A true Southside treasure for good coffee in a area littered with chain restaurants and crap coffee-bucks. I haven’t tried any bad coffee after 5 – 6 visits here. The staff are super friendly and helpful. food is also good tho’ the menu lacks on selection but makes up for it in good prices. Will drive out of my way to hit up this rocking spot on Southside. Also, I have seen their bags of coffee at the Carytown Kroger in the back edge of the produce section by the hummus fridge(random) and Ellwood thompsons. Not sure which other local vendors carry it?

Good people, good coffee. They have many different types of coffee from all over the world: two weeks ago I bought a bag from Mexico, last week Guatemala, and this week Ethiopia. Best thing about this place is that the fresher the coffee, the better it is. They roast it and most bags on the shelf have been roasted within the past week. There are sandwiches and stuff for breakfast too. I give it an A+ for being a local business! They are also really friendly.

Excellent coffee. Well roasted. They roast their own and date the bags so you know when it’s roasted. Courteous, prompt service. Open at 7A.M. Large seating area, which looks comfortable. I wish I had time to relax in it. The owner told me that they cup their own beans.

Cute small business in the heart of chain coffee land, glad we stopped in. They have a play area for small kids and the espresso is delicious.

There just isn’t anything negative to say about this coffee shop. It’s old school high quality roasted brewed coffee all the way and just was what I’ve been looking for in the area since café catura went off site to roast its coffees. No more Starbucks for me. There’s a gifted Baker there who includes healthy as well as decadent items and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious and priced right. Its kitschy decorations and comfy leather chairs make it a great place to meet friends or just go it alone.

Stopped by here while I waited for work to be done on my car at a local dealership. This is an awesome place to stop for coffee, I prefer places like this one over Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and other chains. It doesn’t look too fancy but that’s one of the things I like about it, and they have a great variety of coffee beans/teas and even brewing/grinding devices. The service was excellent and their barista was very friendly. One of the things that made me chuckle was that they put your pastry in a regular zip lock baggy, I love that. I don’t recommend gluten free pastries, but they have these here too, tasty but not like the regular good stuff. I also had a croissant sandwich I enjoyed while surfing the web using their wifi. If I lived in the area I would definitely stop by often for coffee beans or to just relax with some friends.

Courteous, helpful and attentive staff, delicious freshly made breakfast sandwiches(right in front of you, not out of a baggie created at some unknown location) and I am very pleased with their gluten free options, they have Rudi’s gf bread, gf muffins, gf biscotti and gf macaroons– so no feeling left out when all my buds are noshing with their coffee. The coffee is yummy not chemical-ly tasting like other«places». They also carry a variety of tea options. Spacious interior, comfy chairs and clean bathrooms –which is always appreciated. Only downside is they are difficult to find– turn right after the Wells Fargo.

This coffee shop was hard to see from the street but it was well worth it! The atmosphere in here is amazing and I would recommend giving it a try. Among the many fantastic things about this place the fresh coffee beans for sale are delicious and I would recommend trying the«Brazil Mogiana» it’s great coffee and the lady even Ground it for me. The price for this coffee was not bad at all considering how fresh and delicious it is. One of the things I enjoy the most is the friendly staff and fresh food. Just because of this I will be coming back again and again! I got the mocha last time which was amazing and had the perfect amount of chocolate and even cost less than Starbucks how great is that? All in all I would give this shop a 20 out of 5 stars if I could but sadly I cannot so I guess a 5 will have to do. But I highly recommend checking out this place because there is no place like it in midlothian.

Good coffee. Great price. And very clean. And near my sisters job at hospital. It is much better than the hospital coffee shop or the Starbucks, because the quality is still high. But, it’s not as costly. I love the smell. They have a few food options, including gluten free oatmeal. I think I will try the oatmeal for some breakfast.

Very nice, new and somewhat unusual coffee shop. With a name like«Adbibo», I naively thought the owner would be Latino or middle-eastern. In fact, I think he’s of Irish descent, and I later learned the word«adbibo» is Latin and means«to drink in» … like when you say, «I’m going to ‘take in’ the scenery». I believe it’s pronounced, «ad-eh-bee-bo». The place is interesting in layout & appearance. It’s spacious as coffee shops go, with lots of seating, some comfy chairs(not worn out like other coffee shops) and some large windows to enjoy some sun — ‘Florida Room’ style. I usually drink coffee, but Adbibo’s also has a very impressive selection of interesting loose teas, so I decided to break from my routine and try one. The barista recommended a green tea that had popcorn in it, I believe. I added some honey(again, on her recommendation) and was surprised how much I enjoyed it… a quite unique flavor. In fact, I ordered it again the second time I visited a few weeks later. I’ve only tasted the green tea so I can’t comment on the coffee taste, though I did purchase a bag of whole bean Sumatra dark roast, and am anxious to try it at home. They roast their beans in a huge machine that you will see as soon as you enter the shop. It’s not cheap, but I had a Val-Pak coupon. During my second visit, I sampled a few of the dessert items in the display case. I believe they make most or all of them right there in the store, so they are freshly«homemade» and surprisingly VERY affordable… about half what Starbucks charges for similar items! I particularly enjoyed the chocolate-dipped oatmeal bars. As others have mentioned here, this coffee shop is conveniently located, but hard-to-find. It’s near a traffic light intersection on Midlothian Turnpike, one block from Johnston-Willis Hospital. If you’re familiar with the old Arby’s on Midlothian Turnpike(the one that had the large painted cows in front for a number of years), THAT’s the intersection. The Arby’s is still there, but the cows are long gone(… maybe they ‘came home’). Adbibo’s is on the same side of Midlothian Turnpike as Arby’s, but kind of tucked away, just off the road. If you’re looking for it, you’ll see their sign from Midlothian Turnpike. Once you know where it is, you’ll be glad you found it. Nice place. P. S. They have a website(see link above) and a Facebook page where they tell you what they are roasting so you can come get it, fresh.

This place has amazing coffee and should not be missed. This place is surrounded by Starbucks. Weed through them to get to Adbibo! They roast their own single origin coffees and they are tasty. It’s self serve drip in the push pour containers. You can try them all before you choose your fill. The inside of the place feels a little industrial and the baked goods are not the most appealing. Just stick to grabbing coffee to go from the friendly staff and you’ll be happy. I already miss this place as I haven’t found coffee I like as well as theirs here in Cbus.
