This airport is basically the same deal as Lebanon so I’m just copying the majority of it and pasting it here. The only real differences are Rutland only flys to Boston and doesn’t Avis as a rental car option onsite. Other than that they are pretty much the same. Best thing about this airport is free parking. The second best thing is that its tiny and therefore super fast to get checked in, pass through security and board. The staff are also super nice and nothing like you get at normal airports. That said this airport is not for everyone. The planes are extremely small. They hold about 10 people and when full you may actually sit in the co-pilots seat and be told to not touch anything. Personally I think its pretty interesting, but its not like flying on normal commercial aircraft. The planes are also unpressurized so you feel the changes as you climb and descend and the ride can be very bumpy in bad weather. All flights are operated by Cape Air, but you can book with United, AA or Jetblue and connect via Boston to anywhere you want which takes about 45 minutes and is way easier than driving all the way to Boston.
