I have to agree with many others who say they’re just so-so. Pretty much a tourist trap by using the name«White Mountain.» If you’re gonna have a cupcake store, you should make stuff that I can’t do myself at home. These are standard size, not large. Way overpriced(for what you get) at $ 3.25 each. My chocolate mint was a regular chocolate cupcake(very dry BTW) topped with green minty frosting and a mini-thin-mint. My 5yo had a chocolate peanut butter. He asked me to buy a bottled water half-way through due to dryness. There was one hard-working employee. A family of 4 ahead of us ordered 4 cappuccino or espresso, which took FOREVER and really backed up the line. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d return here

It was just ok. Not very memorable. We stopped into the Main store on Saturday, approximately 11am. The store was not busy. The young teens working could have used some customer service training and some energy. They really did not ‘sell’ the product, but rather stood there lifeless while we tried to figure out the flavors. Each cupcake cost 3.50! A macaroon 2″ in diameter was 2.00 each! With prices that high, you are not only purchasing an item, but an experience, as well. We did not get the experience portion of the purchase. A simple greeting upon arrival would have done wonders! The cakes were ok, but not as moist as we had hoped… a bit on the crumblier side. We have had cupcakes from Sprinkles in DC and Queen City Cupcakes in NH. We would certainly take the drive to return to those, but not to White Mountain Cupcakery… sorry. Had the girls working the store put a smile on their face and acted like they wanted to be there, we certainly would have had a better experience, regardless of cost or quality. We are not tourists, but I think many tourist towns think they can get away with lackluster service, inferior goods and poor quality for a one time customer who may never return to the town/state.

The cupcakes are very dry and the frosting is too sweet and too much on top! And they are way overpriced!!!

Pretty good cupcakes with lots of fun flavors! I had my wedding through them and everything came out great. Communication is a little slow but everything else was good. Price was adequate as well.

While spending the 4th of July in North Conway we needed to try out this cupcakery since it won the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. The shop itself is small and getting in and out can be a bit tough when it is busy. That being said, the staff was great and they had a ton of different cupcakes to choose from. My wife bought the«Our Almond Joy» cupcake while another family member bought the«Snowball.» Both cupcakes were incredible but the coconut frosting on the snowball was a bit too sweet. That being said we thought they were phenomenal and we would have them again. The cost per cupcake is a bit high, but for the quality and overall taste, we didn’t mind treating ourselves to something nice.

My brother had been talking this place up for years. I am a big cupcake fan from LA and wanted to see how it measured up. I can say these are very good cupcakes. Probably not on par with something like Sprinkles or Magnolia but definitely as good as anything below the two national champs. The service was fantastic and the locale was charming. It was a really lovely experience and worth the 90 minute drive for a cupcake fan.

Working with White Mountain Cupcakery for our wedding was simply awesome! Our cake designer Jaime is the most creative, warm, funny and amazing person. She created our cake vision beyond expectations and helped us carefully pick each item for our dessert bar which included 5 different flavors of mini cupcakes, brownies, cookies, cake truffles and rice krispie treats. It was hit with our guests and we will definitely come back every time we visit North Conway. Highly recommend them!!! Thank you! Kelly & Bryan Ratliff

We got married May 2015. Everyone raved about our cupcakes, especially the lemon flavor. We had ordered more cupcakes than the number of guests we had attending and it was a good thing… there were no leftovers! They did a great job setting up so we didn’t have to worry about it. The prices were crazy reasonable! Absolutely no complaints. We did our consult in September 2014 and the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed the experience. Every time we are in the North Conway area we stop by and everytime we do, regardless which location, the staff is happy and the cupcakes are amazing. The lemon and red velvet are truly amazing!

After watch cupcake wars we were stoked to be able to try one of their award winning cupcakes. While the frosting was great the cake was dry and stale. They should be doing a lot better with their quality control. For $ 3 each I would hope gourmet cupcakes would be more memorable and fresher than the local supermarket. They were average at best.

The one star us for the above average cupcake… TERRIBLESERVICE and not the first time either. Rude. Kid running around that belongs to one of the workers throwing cupcakes. Was with foreign visitors and the lady would barely explain anything Disappointing

Oh my God, the Almond Joy — the Almond Joy, oh my God. Perfectly moist almond flavored cake with just the right density, rich coconut buttercream, coconut flakes and a gooey chocolate fudge. Seriously, I almost fainted. WMC is a must-do if you’re visiting North Conway. The shop itself is adorable. It’s small with the bakery in back, and the display case and a small parlor with tables up front. It was such a beautiful day outside, we decided to enjoy our treats on the front porch which also made for outstanding people watching. A great little place that deserves a visit.

So, after visiting North Conway a million times I have no idea how I drove past the cupcakery without knowing about it! After seeing the reviews on here I was so excited to stop in and see what they had to offer. The display case of cupcakes looked really nice and the selection was great also. I ended up getting the almond joy for myself and peanut butter cup for the bf. The quality was excellent… perfect amount of homemade frosting and the cake itself was very moist with great flavor. I would give them 5 stars but I think they could be a little cheaper($ 3+tax/per CC) and maybe a little friendlier. Overall though it was worth trying and I plan on trying new flavors in the future.

Super, super cute shop with delicious coffee, and cupcakes and cakes look amazing(we went in before lunch so didn’t get sweets). And the people who own and run the shop were delightful. Would love to go back for dessert!
