The only motel that wasn’t sold out. Now I know why. Small room, really needs updating. Even new comforters would look better. No heat, bearly fit in strange shower. Did I mention the smell? Positive: Nice lady runs it.

Super clean and pet-friendly… A last minute necessary stopping place to avoid a dark and stormy night drive through the mountains. My aussie loved the quiet woods in the back, and cable tv was fine. We had an internet signal for my son, and the beds were comfortable. Inexpensive and retro quaint like a 60’s den.

The White Trellis is a cozy, clean, inexpensive, and pet friendly motel. If you’re seeking a resort experience and/or top of the line modern amenities, it won’t be for you. But if you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay the night when doing activities out and about in the Valley, I would highly recommend it! I’ve stayed here three times, and have never been disappointed. The owner is delightful and very accommodating. Most recently, we stayed here last minute when we got rained out during a night of camping, and we a very reasonable rate of about $ 80. She even waived the pet fee for our dog because of our hardship with the rain. The décor might be a bit dated, sure. But not in the«creepy motel» kind of way … more like in the way you would find a guest bedroom in a grandparent’s house. Old-fashioned but well taken care of. Like I said, if you’re looking for modern amenities, there are plenty of other options in North Conway.

Just getting around to reviewing my stay here last October. There are many good low-cost, low-key motels in North Conway but the White Trellis is not one of them. To name a few problems: teeny tiny room, thin walls, and uncomfortable bed. Everything screamed cheap in here. The towels were probably thirty years old and even the toilet paper roll was half used. One pillow per bed and a thin blanket. We asked about the AC/fan and the owner told us she turned it off because it wasn’t summer anymore. But at the same time, the heat wasn’t on either. Clearly this is a motel run by people willing to do anything to save a buck. Even the vending machine charged $ 1.25 for a one of those mini bottles of water(not even a full size water bottle, c’mon… really?). It was bad, and on top of everything, it really wasn’t even that cheap! I think it ended up being about $ 150 a night which was a total scam for a place like this. I will gladly spend the extra money next time to find a better place. Lesson learned.

This quiet and quaint motel is a 1960’s classic throwback. If you enjoy retro-style rooms with pine wood and cozy furnishings, then this is your place. The décor is outdated and not modern at all, but the place was clean and charming. My room had a private bathroom, which was decked out in retro pink tile! This particular room even had windows on both sides, which allowed a cool mountain breeze to blow through on a warm summer evening. I would definitely stay at White Trellis again. In addition, the staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating.

Went on a last minute getaway and did not book any accommodations in advance. By the time I reached N. Conway, I saw a lot of «no vacancy» signs. While desperately trying to find a place before night time, I found White Trellis. Yes, the place is dated but clean and quiet, even though it is located on the main road. The owner is really nice. The price is a little on the high end, esp without a private bathroom. Beggars can’t be choosers I guess

You get what you pay for, go without any expectations to avoid disappointment. I hate the fact that they don’t have Wi-Fi or a network signal from mobile carriers.
