I used to think Blue Bird was awesome until we walked home twice from downtown, and an additional incident when my husband was left at the bus stop. One of the nights we walked home, our cab driver for the way out passed us just as we were getting home. He stopped and asked how the restaurant had been. We said, «Good but we had to walk all the way home through the south end of New Bedford.» He replied, «Oh yeah, well I’m having brake problems so that’s probably why.» Brake problems? What the h-​e-​double hockey sticks is he doing whizzing around in the van still? When my husband was left at the bus stop, I ended up picking him up on my way home from work and we passed TWO cabs chatting at a gas station. It only took 45 minutes for them to call and say they could pick him up. VERY unreliable company and service. Be weary using them. You have a 10% chance of being picked up… probably about the same odds as seeing an elephant walk down Achusnet.

UNRELIABLE LEFT ME HANGING TO WALK HOME ASSONET TO TAUNTON!!! On June 14, 2015, at 12:30am I called for a taxi to come to High Street, Assonet. They said it would be up to a half hour wait and I said okay. I called them back 45 minutes later and they said he would be there any minute. I called them a half hour later and they told me he accidentally went to the same address in Fall River, not Assonet. My cell phone was almost dead so I explicitly told them that and asked them if the taxi was definitely coming and they said yes and reassured me he would be there in about 10 – 15 minutes. My cell phone died and I waited until 2:30am before I just started walking home to East Taunton from Assonet. Thank God someone pulled over and offered me a ride home because he saw me walking down the side of the highway. PLEASE DO NOT use this service they are extremely unreliable and do not deserve business for pulling a move like that.
