Agway of North Haven

Love it here! Clean, organized, and so many toys and treats for my pup. Great prices and friendly staff. I am not a huge gardener, but they have so many things for gardening that I was almost tempted to get some plants & seeds (not really but it crossed my mind briefly).
Will definitely be back!

I came in to pick up some canning supplies for holiday gifts, on a family visit from California.
The Ball canning jars were 25−40% (depending on the type) more expensive than what I typically pay in San Francisco, which was a bit surprising to me.
I also picked up some pectin, which was a good price. The canning supplies, including the pectin, were stored in an outdoor area that was unheated and open to sunlight– the type of garden store area where plants that need lots of light and a little shelter are kept for sale in the summer. This meant, unfortunately, that the pectin was exposed to significant temperature fluctuations and lots of sun, which aren’t great for quality retention. But since I’m from out of town, I’m not really sure where else to source these things and bought them anyway.
I also picked up some dog treats, which were also priced well, which the cashier additionally gave me $ 2 off on, so that was really great.
While I’ll probably look for other places to get canning supplies, I’ll be back for pet things when in town.

I have been going to this Agway location for years since I was a kid. We always have had a great experience and overall the staff is helpful and greets you as soon as you walk in. We have chickens and they need feed that you have to ask for at the counter, and they allow you to drive to the back of the store where a worker will put the feed into your car. They were exceptionally nice to me when I put a 50lb bag of dog food into my cart, which must have already had a tear in it, and the ENTIRE contents spilled onto the floor!!! How embarrassing (omg…) I sign up for their online newsletters and they give away some good promotional coupons. I buy the Natural Balance dog food (expensive per bag) and they have a «frequent buyers club» so you can get a bag free. I like this location, overall very good place to go and prices are reasonable.

Incredibly helpful staff. I walked in the door and in under ten minutes they educated me on solutions to my lawn issues, picked out products, and even swapped out a product when they realized they had a more cost effective solution which ended up saving me thirty bucks.
Great staff and a wide variety of products at good prices!

Great selection of pet products. I buy all my chicken feed & hay here which led me to start buying all my pet supplies here. Much cheaper than stores such as Petco. They also sell all sorts of cages, flowers, and random items.
