My family and I will not return to this location. Just to be fair, yes I know it is a chain restaurant l, however ya no excuse for nasty food and terrible service. We used to have good experiences when visiting this location. However these past two times have been horrible. The last time my husband and I came the salad was spoiled and they completely messed up my to go order for my mom. I chalked it up to an off night. However, here I am today on a Saturday evening with our kids and it’s quite empty. That in itself being empty on a Saturday evening is very telling of how the quality and service has gone down hill. First of all, what is Red Lobster famous for-biscuits! Well they’re normally supposed to give you biscuits before you even order, however we waited 40 minutes for biscuits. And when the waiter brought them out he brought out 3 and promise to bring out more which we never got. The service was completely lacking and slow. The waiter, while he was very nice he was very slow and inefficient. The food has definitely fell off. We ordered linguine Alfredo and the pasta and sauce was disgusting and swimming in grease. And now I have a terrible stomach ache. I’ve now been waiting 15 minutes for my check as I just want to get out of here as the sight of the food is making me more nauseous… I just got my check and my to go order in which he brings without a bag and forgot part of the order. Just completely horrible from start to finish. I will never waste a penny of my hard earned money at this place again.

Tried this place again today. Services was 100x better from the wait time(there was not one) to the service and the food. James was a great server, very attentive. The manager Zack was great as well. He took care of us and made sure we had a great experience. Thank you Zack and James!

1 ½ wait for a table! On Mothers Day. Ok I get that. However an 1 ½ hour wait for our food to come out, not acceptable! To start out we sit down, waiter takes our drink order, drinks come out and he takes our order, salads come out but oh wait we have no silver wear… Finally get silver wear and then bread with no plates! Come on you run a restaurant and you know what the big holidays consist of so why is your business running at this slow of pace??? You wonder why your turn around on your wait staff is so high well it’s because of days like today that they get treated like crap because you obviously DON’T have capable cooks in the back to get stuff out in a timely manner! This place is need of a better management team! If I could give no stars I would and I will NEVER return here! Your management should have been out on the floor apologizing to tables instead of the wait staff who probably got crappy tips because of the incapable management who do not know how to run a functional restaurant! So today we decided to give this place another chance. What a huge difference! Our server James was exceptional and Zach the manager was great! Thank You both for making our experience today worth giving you all another chance. Zach you stuck to your word and that shows how great of a person you are!

I feel the service here can be a hit or a miss. We have come on days where the service was amazing! Then there have been days when we have been forgotten about to bring our salads or drinks. I recommend going on a quiet afternoon, which is usually less hectic. We had a server named Jon who was more than amazing to us.

love it here! better than any other red lobster places in CT that i’ve been too!.(BPT sucks). just went for their lobster fest. and ugh so good! good service too. and of course their biscuits are the best! the only thing is the last time i went i didn’t get my strawberry mojito that i ordered. Our waiter Xavier apologized about it. but the surf and turf meal made up for it!

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered take out and it took 20 minutes for the waitresses at the bar to acknowledge me after a few times of me saying excuse me I ordered take out. After reviewing my order and checking to make sure my order was correct… all the food was thrown randomly in the same container… example: maple glazed chicken had the rice and broccoli thrown on top of it instead of being placed in the divider sections in the container, I then said excuse me to the waitress and she completely ignored me. I will be calling the manager! I waited for over 45 minutes to receive my take out order that I called in ahead of time and was told to come in 20 minutes. All three waitresses were extremely rude to the customers who ordered take out. Another gentleman sitting next to me had been waiting over an hour and when he complained the waitress simply said you can talk to the manager than and walked away rot gout apologizing. The worse customer service ever!!!

Kristin C was our server. We had ceasar salad, lobster bisque, Sangria, Lobster Punch, Admirals Feast and Seaside Shrimp Trio. Service was excellent! Kristin asked if I needed more crackers with my soup(very considerate), very fast, accurate, and the salad was even on a cold plate(excellent touch kitchen!). If you come here then I suggest her section. She checked back on us several times appropriately(not smothering), and was a great experience. I am a former server with several pet peeves so I know what to expect. If you come here, sit in her section.

Just left here from having lunch with my husband and daughter. I can honestly say I did not enjoy anything I ate. Their ceaser dressing tasted very weird. Almost like a weird lemon flavor. I order ceaser salad everywhere and it’s not something I’ve tasted before. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were very bland and not worth the money we paid for them. I ordered the crab linguine alfredo for my entrée and at first they sent me out a shrimp alfredo on accident so they had to get me a new one. By the time they came with the correct one, my family had almost finished their food. I tried my crab alfredo and it was extremely salty and tasted nothing like alfredo. My husband tried it and agreed it was pretty much inedible. I asked them to take it back. The manager came over and asked if I wanted something else but by that time, everyone was almost done eating so I didn’t bother. She said she would take the alfredo off the bill. Obviously I would think she would have. I told her the rest of the food was also not enjoyable but she didn’t have much to say about it. Should have stuck with Olive Garden.

Went for dinner last Thursday the 8th and sat at the bar. I had the shrimp and sirloin and my gf had the pick 4 special… the food was delicious, totally enjoyed the meal, bartender was attentive and nice. Now the bad and the only 3 star review I have ever given(which I hate giving by the way cause I work in a restaurant part time) I ordered a Budweiser beer on draft, beer was totally bad and the part that kills me is I asked the bartender to pour herself a splash of beer to try it, her reaction is «that’s gross ewwww, yea that’s the bottom of the keg it’s definitely bad» so she agrees that the beers bad, she never offers me a new different beer or to comp it wtf lets just keep the bad keg on for the next beer drinker and not do anything to make my beer right… lost two stars right there

We had dinner here with a couple of friends on a rainy Sunday evening. We were seated right away and greeted by our wonderful waitress Isadel. The food was mediocre, loaded with salt and garlic but presented well. The food also came out much too quickly as we were trying to slowly catch up with friends. We would probably only go back to have Isadel as our waitress.

We went to Red Lobster for lunch, once there we found that it’s a good idea to stop for lunch before going to Red Lobster for lunch. If it wasn’t for the three(3) servings of bread we would have left looking for some place to eat.

Have been to this Red Lobster in the past but a little disappointed in my last visit. First of all, the place looked like it needed a good sprucing up. The menu’s were greasy and the steak sauce bottle had dried sauce running down the sides. Not pleasant. Luckily we had hand wipes with us. Ordered the«jumbo lump crabcake» appetizer and not close to «jumbo lump». just shredded crab .a little false advertising here, I think… the sauce that came with it was suppose to be some type of lemon sauce, but it had no flavor whatsoever, didn’t even taste like tarter sauce. The dinners were just ok, nothing special.

Everything was way too salty. The best were the biscuits. If you order land and sea make sure you order rare because medium rare will come out over cooked. The trio combo were so salty! I could only eat the salmon. The lobster baked macaroni couldn’t eat it. The chef must of dumped a can of salt on there. Will not go again.

Okay… So upon coming into the establishment we were greeted very nicely. Unfortunately this was not the case on 5⁄38:45pm by the pm bartender. Not only was she extremely uninterested in taking Any order of ours but when she came over she insisted on looking at her watch rolling her eyes and sighing. luckily I was extremely hungry and honestly New another server in the dinning room would change this experience. We quickly moved out seats and our server Daniel made it a way better time. I am giving him 5 stars but because of the other staff and lack of traning a 2 for the business Thank you A restaurant owner.

The experience was exactly as I expected, middle of the road dining experience. I had gone with a friend that had never had Red Lobster before, so of course I had to drag him in the restaurant to try the amazing cheesy biscuits. And the cheesy biscuits were phenomenal. No disappointment there. I wasn’t in the mood for something too heavy, so I stuck with a salad. I didn’t expect it to be amazing, but I was a little disappointed. The only salad that can be eaten as a meal is the Caesar salad. I wish it had more lettuce and meat, it truly just felt like 1.5 side salads. As for the restaurant, it was quite empty. The usual Red Lobster décor, which is quite intimate actually. There were many waiters around, each with only 2 or 3 tables, but it was a struggle to get water and biscuit refills. It might have only been our waiter, since all the other patrons seem fine.

My bf and I ate here for an early dinner, 4:00pm — which is the time to go if you don’t want to wait in line. It had been years since we’ve been to a Red Lobster and received a gift card so we were excited to try it again. The décor was very nice, newly renovated very classy. The hostess was very prompt and courteous. My bf ordered the Ultimate Feast and I had the Lobsterfest dish with two lobster tails and seafood Alfredo. Our waiter was awesome! Very friendly, super knowledgeable on the menu and offered great suggestions. His service was prompt and attentive. My bf got the Cesar salad I had the garden salad. Both were fresh and cold with yummy dressings. Those cheddar bay biscuits cannot be beat! Hot and fresh super moist melting in your mouth! We both enjoyed our dinners. Plenty of food, absolutely love their broccoli! We took home a doggie bag and would definitely return!

I’d give this place a six if I could. We dined here this evening(my wife and I with my parents). Three of us ordered«endless shrimp,» while my wife had salmon. While it did take a little time, it wasn’t that long a wait(not long enough to complain about if anything). When they brought our meal one manager told us that we could order dessert to eat in the restaurant or to take home in them for the wait. A couple of minutes later, the service manager came up and told us that our full meal was on them. We were all surprised! As my mother really enjoys Red Lobster, we alway go to one somewhere when the parents come to visit. We’ve waited longer at other locations in the past. In fact we’ve often waited much longer to just be seated(whereas we were seated right away this evening). Obviously the staff and management at this location has much higher standards for themselves compared to most Red Lobsters. And that is why I would give them a six if I could!!!

We are not really seafood people but we were in New Haven to pick up someone at the train station, so we Went on a Friday in Lent for the seafood – very pleasantly surprised at the quality and the excellent service! So busy that we sat at the bar, all staff were very accommodating and cheerful. My husband had a glazed Mahimahi with mango salsa, delicious! I had Parmesan crusted tilapia, love love love this dish! The wines were just right, and of course the cheesy biscuits were a pleasant bonus! My husband used to be a chef and said he would definitely come here again! Wish we didn’t have to leave the Hartford area to find one.

We rarely ever eat at Red Lobster just because we tend to like other restaurants more, and Red Lobster can get pretty pricey as far as chain restaurants go, but we decided to give them another shot after receiving a gift card there as a present. Well, the food was about as mediocre as we remembered. The Cheddar Bay biscuits, which were always my favorite part of the meal, somehow didn’t taste as good as I remembered. They were light and fluffy, but ultimately pretty flavorless. Our salads were fresh, which was nice, and my mother enjoyed her chicken tortilla soup, but our entrees were pretty lacking. I got the best entrée at the table– a lobster + shrimp combo that included a wood-grilled lobster tail(pretty tasty and well-cooked, but wimpy in size), wood-grilled shrimp(also enjoyed and surprisingly plentiful), and shrimp scampi(the weakest of the entrees… the only flavor was the butter it was swimming in). My father was greatly disappointed with his lobster-stuffed tilapia. It was tiny and not all that flavorful. My dad has a pretty large appetite, so I felt sorry for him, when the plate arrived, and he looked down at what was about 7 – 8 bites of fish. My mother got the shrimp combo with the same shrimp that I got. It was about half the price of the stuffed tilapia, but ultimately a much better value. If you want an extra lobster tail for about $ 10 more, the lobster and shrimp combos might be your thing, I guess, but if I came back, I’d just order the shrimp combo and leave it at that. All of our sides were satisfactory, if a little oversalted. In general, the chef was very liberal with the salt. I have a pretty high salt tolerance, but even I thought everything bordered on too salty, and my parents definitely thought it was too salty. The restaurant was overall very clean, and we loved our waitress. She was super nice and accommodating of my mother’s unique allergy situation. The look of the restaurant is far classier than you’d expect from the food. I hear Red Lobster is closing a lot of their restaurants, and after eating here, I can see why. I think their main problem is the huge disparity between the pictures of the seafood in the ads and the real thing. The sizes of their portions are about half the size of the portions in the ads, and it really leaves you disappointed when the food actually arrives at the table. I guess at that point, they’ve already lured you in and you’re going to have to pay, but if they want repeat customers, they’re going to have to increase portion sizes, decrease prices, or increase the quality of the food. None of the Lobsterfest entrees were particularly worth the price, in my opinion, and I feel like I can get better seafood for cheaper elsewhere. If you’ve been to Red Lobster before and had a good experience, then maybe this is your kind of place, but I wasn’t a fan, and I wouldn’t recommend it to first-timers.

It’s been a few years since I’ve set foot in a Red Lobster, but we stopped in for lunch over the weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised. Loved the cheddar biscuits, no surprise there. I ordered the Lobster Artichoke and Seafood Dip, my fiancée had the shrimp tacos — both very tasty & good. Our waiter Kayshaan was friendly, witty & prompt — we couldn’t ask for better service, he was outstanding. He even gave us some drinks to go, as it was extremely hot outside that day. We also loved the décor of this place, a very nice setting for a meal. Lighting was perfect too. Overall, a very good experience.
