The store is a store, plain and simple. They generally carry all the same items you’d expect from a pharmacy. The problem is in the back, meaning the pharmacy itself. On any given day/night, you’ll be greeted and served by one of four, maybe five different pharmacists and/or a handful of pharmacy technicians. If the chief pharmacist, Ms. Burns, is on duty, you can pretty much expect to be treated properly. She’s top notch. The other pharmacists are generally pretty competent, or at least helpful. There is one gentleman there with a European accent who can be a bit rude at times, but you can generally get past that. Of the techs, there’s one girl who’s there much of the daytime who is very friendly, helpful and all-around sweet. On the other hand, there is a tech of Asian descent who just goes out of his way to make your life difficult. That he is still there amazes me and, unfortunately, I’m strongly considering taking my business to CVS. This guy sees me 3 – 4 times a month. He knows who I am, knows I’m picking up meds for my wife, and still asks the address just to give me a hard time. If you ask him to ask the pharmacist something, you’re generally wasting your time, too. To get past him, insist on speaking to the pharmacist directly, and if you tell him because you don’t deal with self-important slugs like him, I won’t cry about that, either.
