Tacos Michoacan

My stomach hurtsssss. Stopped in with my mom cause she was craving tacos and this place was close. There was NO ONE eating there, which I always take as a bad sign, especially after 5pm, but we ignored the «sign» and ordered anyone. The lady at the counter was nice and the tacos came out almost right away.
Pros:
–Fast, friendly service
–Generous amount of meat in tacos (so much that you can make two tacos out of one)
Cons:
–GREASY GREASY GREASY (I’m not a health fanatic, I like greasy food, but this was too much). The tortillas were dripping in oil and the meats sat in pools of oil on top the tortilla. The plate was left drenched in oil by the time I was done
–Establishment is ill-​maintained. Counter, tables, and salsa area were very dirty, not even just like someone had spilled something, but like it had never been cleaned.
–Salsas are essentially water
–My stomach HURTS
I’m glad this place is nowhere near where I live, so I won’t be coming back

I came in for some tacos and figured it would be great because of the good reviews and I was disappointed. I wanted to like this place but the tacos tasted funny, and I ended up with a stomach ache an hour later.

Omg! If you are ever in North Hills and want some delicious tacos, stop by Carnitas Michoacanas!!! I had probably the best tacos de asada… Small, but really well served portions of meat. People are friendly and the prices are reasonable too!

I came here because of the reviews and was not dissapointed at all. Asada burrito and asada taco was really good and did not scimp out on the asada. Impressed with the flavor, size, and price of the burrito. Definitely will be coming back.

Wow, honestly I need to drop by small shops like these more often. I thought that I had to drive into DTLA to get real authentic tacos in the grand central market but I’ve been completely proven wrong here.
I was at subway next door and my friend wanted to drop by and get a burrito. I was reserved at first since small hole in the wall places usually gives me a bad unclean vibe at me, but regardless I was really hungry for some lengua or buche tacos. They’re simply one of the best cuts (tongue and stomach).
I’ve never had stomach fried up like that in tacos and it was truly a delight. It reminded me a bit of Chinese food or even Korean bbq. It was just simply great. The lengua as well! I’m definitely headed back for some more tacos in the very near future!

My favorite taco place in LA. Alma is always so sweet and welcoming and the food is great. I usually get the asada tacos and some veggie tacos (off the menu but with very generous portions!). Inexpensive and delicious. I am a big fan and come here often. Would recommend ¹⁰⁄₁₀.

L O V E this place. This is my go-​to spot for tacos. I used to work like right across the street from them so I went here fairly often.
I always order the Tacos de Lengua yumm
I cannot go to another taco spot and say its better than the ones here.
Lady in front knows me and my order and always has it ready within 5 – 10 minutes.
I only take special friends of mine to this little hidden gem. Will always be a loyal customer.

I always thought that all mexican restaurants were all great but so far this place ranks 1 out of the many mexican places i’ve been on (not a chained restaurant). What makes this place different from the others? Well for a place that doesn’t stand out too much, their food does. The Burritos are wonderful, the quesadillas are amazing and those are just what i’ve had so far. I can’t wait to try the rest but i already know they’re gonna tase good because the cook knows what he’s doing. They’re also generous when it comes to the portion.

Great place! Huge quantities, great taste, inexpensive, no more than 5 minute wait, VERY friendly! ¹⁰⁄₁₀! I would recommend the carne asada fries!

This is by far the best taco place ever. Generous portions. Great prices. Delicious and authentic Mexican food just like my abuelita used to make!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for dinner. I was very pleased with the tacos al pastor. These people are very generous with their servings. The taco was over flowing. I enjoyed every bite. We also had the tortas and asasda fries. The torta wasn’t my fav but it was good. The fries were tasty. I will def Come back to this place.

Love these tacos super delicious! Ask for the vegetarian tacos there not on the menu but they are really good!

Them carne asada fries though. If you say extra cheese… Its alot of extra cheese. This place is bombbbbb

my dad told me about this place. and of course we went. They workers were so friendly and we were welcomed. gave a look on their menu. everything looks so good and my first choice was the carne Asada burrito. the burrito was big and delicious and there Horchata was OMG I cant get enough of there drink. on my next visit I notice the had Nachos. the Nachos were so good I got full. there menudo is so good we go at least every other Sunday!!!

Found this place on Unilocal.Drive bye it daily and never notice it since it’s kinda in a small shopping center in the corner. Work around the area so I wanted something different to eat. Parking is a bit if a hassle since it’s small. Order asada Burrito and it was pretty good the Asada meat taste good. They were very fast and friendly with the order. You get some chips with your order. Also tried the Asada fries those were good but the fries were not cook well done. Next time I order them I have to tell them well done. It’s a good mexican spot if your around the area and want to grab something to eat really quick.

First time trying out this place and I gotta say they have some pretty good tacos.
I tried an order of their 3 taco plate with Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas. The Meat was very well marinated and the flavor came out pretty good.
Since I ordered the plate it came with Rice Beans and a small side of salad. I think the combo ended up costing around $ 8
Their beans were really good.
The only problem with this place is the small parking lot and the strong smell outside coming from the Budweiser factory.

Wow glad I found this little gem. The look of the place isn’t very appealing but most great spots arent. Had the carne asada fries with a horchata and it hit the spot! Definitely coming back again

Tacos Michaocan has some of the best al pastor tacos I’ve ever had. They’re greasy & messy but pack an insane amount of flavor. Plus they’re insanley cheap, gonna miss these guys once I switch jobs. Hopefully I can find tacos like these in the near future.

Yummy asada fries … I really liked my food but there was a peace of weird looking none in my food that scared me off and weirded me out … The people here are super nice .ill come again :)

I have to revise my review… I really didn’t want to but I have to … Me and my boyfriend both got sick from this place … And that’s all we had together and we didn’t have anything after it so … Such nice people working here too but this sucks

There’s nothing like coming to a hole-​in-​the-​wall Mexican place and while I wait for my take-​out I get to watch an over the top performance of the latest telanovela. LOL
I’ve been coming here for nacho fries. But their wet burritos are awesome too. I’ve had their pastor and carne asada. I interchange the meat on the fries and burrito because the meat is good on either or. If you don’t like it spicy (my mom doesn’t like it spicy), don’t ask for everything. Ask for the heat on the side, but I like the burn. LOL
I think they charge for credit cards because when she gives me my total for both it’s always $ 14.99 and then when I hand her my credit card she says it’s $ 15 plus change. No big deal but I just gotta bring cash. Yes, I never remember! LOL
It’s never busy when I go but it’s always at night between 8pm-​9pm. The parking lot is small but there is street parking nearby. Although I haven’t had to use the street parking yet. Thank God! LOL I haven’t eaten at the restaurant because I always get it to go, but the cashier is friendly and the food is pretty quick. I come to this place because it is close to home. See you guys soon!
