I was referred to them by a friend/realtor. Richard came on time and stayed for 3 hours, investigating the problem, going into attic repeatedly on a very hot day. He was so thorough and so patient, found the problem and fixed my a/c. Then had him check out my rental house a/c and he said it was fine, didn’t try to sell me anything. I recommend Custom Aire very highly.

This is not a review. This is a fact. For 10 years I have had a parade of technicians try to fix my heat/AC. I’ve had engineers, commercial designers, you name it. Probably 50+ service calls and no one could fix it. One guy was here for 6 ½ hours. Guess who fixed it? You’re «Paul-darn» right-Paul fixed it!

I cannot say enough bad things about how Paul runs his business! He is unreliable and unprofessional! I’ve had the same issue on a brand new(only 4 years old) AC unit and Paul has never fixed the problem. He just takes your money, IF and WHEN you can ever get him out. to your house. I will never use him or again nor would I recommend him to anyone. Please look elsewhere for your AC needs or you will experience the same frustration that I have.

After two companies(one of whose earlier«repairs» had started a fire on our roof, but that’s another review) told us we’d have to replace our entire AC unit to the tune of $ 4,000 to $ 5,000, we were very happy we got a third estimate. Paul, from Custom Aire in North Hollywood, took a look and told us our condenser(whatever that is) could be repaired. He came out on a Saturday, repaired the thing in minutes, and even helped my husband remove some old AC housing — all for a grand total of $ 185. It’s been running great ever since. Relief doesn’t quite cover what I felt, but suffice it to say Custom Aire is the only company we’ll we’ll be calling for our future AC/Heating needs. Thanks, guys!
