Dollar Tree

I like Dollar Tree. In fact, I shop at Dollar Tree stores. If you want to APPLY to WORK here, don’t even bother. I dropped off an application because I just wanted to earn extra money for Christmas. I came across with this lady I believe her name was Kaynla something like that. I asked her if I could speak to her Manager or Supervisor and with her thick accent which I could barely understand what she was saying she asked me what I needed.
I was like ummm ok. She never said anything about SHE is the «Supervisor» so I told her that I wasn’t sure if they were hiring for holidays, so she kept on asking me questions but curiosity got the best of me–
so I just let her talk more and see what she «knows about this business»…and she asked me you have Retail Experience? And i decided to lie — so I say yeah about 5 years ago I worked at Sears… and she’s like why you quit? So i «told her» because they cut my hours that they start giving me weeks off; and she responded «That’s how Retail stores are. We Dollar Tree do the same. well her tongue got so loose that I caught her lying many times.

I’d been working in Retail Stores and Customer Assistance for more then 10 years. My longest retail job that I had was 6 years and they never cut my hours. In fact they asked me to be the Supervisor because I learned how to do everything. Even a company begged me to keep working for them and even asked me how much I wanted to get PAID!
Besides, come on people is not like your employees offers the «BEST» Customer Service. They lack of a lot of things. So she’s telling me everything as if she knew what she was talking about.
At the end what i could understand she says that come back tomorrow and bring something? … what? I didnt understand what she said. I already gave you the application all your answers are in the application, what other paper she’s talking about? My resume? C’mon resume is for at least the Mall Jobs not this one.
Is the company loss.

This store can be quite busy and take several minutes for the check out process, but other than that it is nice. The staff is friendly. They have parking. The store is well stocked and clean. They work hard here, but sometimes the guests are overwhelming.

I recently visited a Dollar Tree in NJ when I was back visiting and it was the WORST I’ve ever seen. When I went to this Dollar Tree I could not believe the difference. The store was neat and clean and VERY organized. Hats off to the manager and employees of this store who take pride in where they work.

Like with most dollar stores, there’s definitely some good bargains at the Dollar Tree. The place, however, is a little down and there’s not usually enough checkers available. Also things on the shelves could be kept a little neater.

How do you only have 1 person working the register on a Saturday? Walked in, walked out.

Oh this store gets me every time lol. I always run in for one thing and end up leaving with about twenty things. The store is always a mess especially the toy aisle but I cant really blame them its customers who constantly throw things around. Staff has always been nice and friendly.

Great place to get little things that you need around the house. Most of the stuff is junk, but things like seasonal decorations and party supplies are a bargain. Don’t ever ask to use the restroom there, none of the staff will ever let you use it, very inconvenient especially if you have a kid.

Came in here with my niece she picked a toy she wanted we were walking around she was playing with it and had accidently fell out her hand some asian looking lady seem like she a manager or something yells out if you break it you take it if you don’t put it back. I was like it just fell out her hand its not even broken and of course I’m going to purchase it. –_​_​–

This store is usually not busy when I visit there. Lines are short, and the waiting in them is not that bad. Not exactly brand items sold here, though. If I cared about that, I would not come here. But a dollar is a dollar, and that’s cheap enough for me.
