Love this place. Self service means you don’t have to wait with cranky kiddos in tow while they get you a new pair.

I come here a lot because there shoes are cheap and you can use your rewards card and coupons. So you always get a great deal on your shoes here. I just don’t recommend to buy any of the character ones because they don’t last long. They will start ripping or tearing apart. There is always a few staff working there, some of them are not that helpful.

Don’t under stand how this location is still open…
Came in looking for shoes they all just stand around they don’t bother helping you… I know this is in the ghetto but I think the street in LA smell better than this store walked around the whole store with my nose covered cuz it smelled like shit and a bunch of old lady purfume and Clorox threw out the whole store after Noone helping me I walked out empty handed and with a massive headache.
I will never walk into any of these locations ever again nor this one I rather go to foot locker normstorm, anywhere els but here.

The store manager is clearly on a power trip. I came in with my boyfriend to buy a few pairs of shoes. We are both young students. I showed my school ID because I was the one making the payment & when you present your school ID a discount is always applied. They are known for doing this helpful kind of thing for us students who are on a budget. I was told it could not be applied because «the shoes were not for me». I spoke with the store manager to ask if I could see where it said this in their guidelines. I was told: the discount is given «Willingly» and «we really don’t have to even do it». Oh OKAY, so if it’s a discount that you «willingly» made up, you could «willingly» give it to me– You just chose not too. LOL. Working in the customer service industry I couldn’t help but to become bothered by her made up «rules and regulations». After this we didn’t want to give our business to them anymore but we had already spent over an hour picking out the perfect shoes. We then had to travel back to Burbank to retrieve my boyfriends student ID and come back to present it. How sad that such individual needs to feel empowered and have authority over someone half her age (and size lol) just to feel entitled. I definitely won’t be stopping by as often as I used too.

Warehouse Shoe Sale uses to carry a lot of selections. It seems as if they only carry a hand full of styles and 85% of them are in black, white, or black/​white.

Came here looking for a couple pairs of shoes for my 2 year old.
The parking situation is a bit weird, an «entrance» sign would be a bit helpful being that cars are coming in and out from both directions.
Anyway, the layout is pretty standard like all WSS, I figured my daughter’s foot had grown a bit, so a nice lady was able to get me a foot measurer and it worked out great. The customer service is great.
Picked up some socks too, they have a huge selection of socks for all ages.
I picked up a rewards card, which is free. They ask you to leave feedback on their website to get $ 10 off your next visit, haven’t used it yet but sounds almost too good to be true.
I’ll update my review once I’m able to redeem it.

Unless you are looking for soccer cleats this is not the place to go. Small selection.

I got me some new kicks! I told my boyfriend over the weekend that I’m in need of some shoes for running and working out.
I found some super bright Nike shoes that I had to have. The original price: $ 70. Markdown: $ 45.
Yes the service sucks as everyone mentions — quite funny actually because they had a greeter at the door who never said anything to anyone entering or exiting, wish I could get paid to do that! But seriously, with the markdowns you can’t complain much.
Also they don’t have much of a selection so don’t come here if you are looking for something in particular.

This is basically a «self serve» shoe store what you see is what you get and if your size is not on the shelf then most likely the do t have it. On occasion they might had additions sizes in the back (but that’s if you’re lucky).
Shoe selection is okay and some of their «clearance shoes» are only a few bucks off. Giving 3 stars because the store is mostly kept clean, organized and usually has much better appeal than any other WSS store.
Also, I would wish that this store was not so focuses strictly on basketball gear. I went here yesterday looking for some shorts for running and gym activity and found nothing but big, ugly long, baggy basketball shorts.
Will be back only if I’m shopping for basketball shoes.

Excellent service, we found the soccer shoes for my whole family. And we also had a good time being there. The people working there are so friendly and they have the answer to my question. Besides is my favorite shoe store i really recomend it. Low prices and new styles everytime i go there..

Lately, I am starting to add tons of shoes to my collection. I renewed my «Man-​Diva» title, but after this visit, I feel a bit filthy. I wasn’t looking for a Nike Shoe, but looking for some Dress Boots for my everyday strutting on the streets of Los Angeles. My first search led me to WSS in North Hollywood.
Located on the west side of Vineland near Sherman Way, you will find the WSS Store. Even before entering the store, you may get confused of which side your vehicle is supposed to enter. At times, there are two cars leaving from the WSS driveway and I am not sure which is to enter or exit. If you go during peak times, the parking lot can seem very small and packed. It can be a nightmare when drivers don’t park correctly or have huge vehicles.
Like most WSS Stores, there are Loss Prevention staff at the entrance. I guess WSS has a problem with people stealing lots of shoes. When you walk in, the initial appearance is clean, but when you start walking down the aisle, it becomes a war zone with boxes open and the shoes in the back in chaos. I finally found some cheap, but comfortable Dress Boots. They were men EuroStar western black boots ($ 16.99). I swear they could be much more expensive than this.
As I was checking out, the line was quite long. It felt like I was waiting for the court to hear my plea and pay the fine. Well, I have never done that, but that’s how I feel. If you don’t have a WSS card, you may want to sign up. It is free and you may get discounts from time to time. If you use your Unilocal App and check in, you may get a $ 10 off a $ 50 purchase. There may be a hiccup with the program and you’ll have to tell the employee to enter it manually to get the discount.
As I walked out, I heard a huge engine rev out. Oh yeah, I forgot that this WSS is next to Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport and then a train passed by. Oh my… where am I? I didn’t realize buying shoes had so many forms of transportation pass by. Just missing the boat. I am not sure if I want to come back here based off of the experience I just went through. It was weird and I felt unsafe. The dress boots and the value were the only thing keeping me from giving this place from a One-​Star Review.

The absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I won’t be shopping here ever again and I suggest you do the same.

Located across from a large shopping center on an otherwise industrial looking strip of Vineland, I’ve rode past this store, not knowing what WSS stood for, many times… One of the S’s might stand for Shoes. I found out it was a shoe warehouse type place because somewhere I got a coupon with impressive $ 25 off for a purchase of $ 100 that had some images of shoes on it.
I called and asked if they had women’s shoes — inc for business before I decided to stop in the other day. I guess the yes I got was from someone who didn’t know what I meant and just wanted another person to take the time and make the effort to show up.
The physical plant is immaculate, organized, light and bright, and I even wondered if they were running an air cleaner along with an air-​conditioner. They’re doing a great job of presentation and environment.
There was a greeter who took one of my big bags aside, saying I would be «more comfortable» not carrying it with me, and maybe that’s not true. Anyway, it was a nice attempt to make sure I’m not a shop-​lifter.
I wasn’t sure if I should give this store the 3 star AOK because my chief disappointment is that they did not have women’s shoes for business.
These are shoes you might wear out on dates or dancing — maybe to high school with jeans — some of those flat type slip ons — and Chinese imports — but those are not business shoes. The majority of the shoes sold at WSS are what I call sports shoes. made out of man made materials which I find to be too hot for LA most of the year. I just can’t relate to most of the styles, even though I know these are major brands. The shoes may actually be very comfortable to walk around in but none of them are designed in a subtle or classic manner.

Went in yesterday with my GF to buy a pair of shoes. I swear, everytime we are at this location we are followed around by an employee who acts as if we are about to steal something.
Anyways, they have a HUGE selection of shoes here and also some clothes. Nike, Jordan, Vans, Adidas, etc. Lots of variety, ok prices but definitely not cheap.

For several weeks I’ve had one mission… to find a pair of freaken rain boots in a size 3 that didn’t have Tinkerbell, hello kitty, sleeping beauty or Selma Gomez, I said let’s go in what do I have to lose, the only pair of size 3 plaid rain boots where there. I didn’t care anymore, I just grabbed them and paid my $ 17.00. Other then that, this place is a hot mess, kids running all over the place, boxes all over the floor, the staff speaks mainly Spanish cuz it’s basically, choloas and ex cons who work here, when I went to pay and she spoke to me in Spanish I was y Que? No I actually was, I’m sorry? Then she realized oh okay maybe English speaking people come in here, then she busted out with her Spanglish, the quality of shoes is poopy but I guess if your on a budget and want to attempt to look fashionable, this would be the place. My luck I spend 3 weeks looking for rain boots and it will most likely stop raining.
