Oak View Motel

We’ve visited this motel a couple of times a year for several years, but no more. In the past it has been OK, not fancy, but OK. There was serious dust in the corners and between the night stand and the bed area, rusty and dusty floor lamp, dead flies and other creeping things in the corners of the window sill and frame, almost afraid to step into the terribly outdated shower. Dust on top the microwave. Too many extension cords. Some kind of barrier was put between the door and the frame using a long strip of duct tape across the inside top of the door! When we arrived the last time at 7:00 pm, the bed was unmade and the spread on the floor. Seems the person was distracted because the sheet was wet and she hoped it would dry, so she left to do something else. I opened the FOLDED sheet, found it very wet inside, and that was our first clue that we wouldn’t be returning. We advised the office and someone came to finish making the bed with the above explanation/​excuse.
