Jitters gets really crowded right before and right after school, since the high school is down the street. Great coffee and gluten free options too!

My boyfriend has been coming here since high school and he loves the feeling of going in this little hut. It is very small inside, but they have a nice coffee variety and have everything made to order. Iced coffee and hot coffee are both great! Snicker doodle is a must try. The only bad thing is that they seem very rushed because of the crowd that comes in. There is a good amount of parking for the size of the coffee shop which is nice.

The atmosphere, food and beverages are exceptional but if you’re looking for friendly costumer service you should take your business elsewhere. The service the past few times I have been here, the staff has been cold and quite frankly rude. Prepare yourself for unpleasant service if you choose to visit this coffee shop.

Awesome coffee, good sandwiches and baked goods, and an endless variety of bagels and cream cheese, my favorite is the cheddar bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese … So good. Nice owners and good staff. I used to work next door and get a iced tea every day. I recommend anyone here for a quick lunch or for good fresh coffee.(:

Jitters Café is a nice breakfast and lunch option if you’re near Wickford. The service is pretty quick and the prices are reasonable for the area. There is a lot of parking in the front too, so I’ve never had any problems getting there, even on the busiest of days, Thumbs up for me.

Best little breakfast place in all Rhode Island. Don’t let the line fool you, it goes quick. Beautiful and friendly staff of women. Breakfast jalapeño egg and potato wrap was the best I ever tasted. Any scone is a good scone. The iced funky monkey was funky alright. If you are in 15 miles of this place you have to stop by.

I love Jitters because it has great chai, coffee, and gluten free offerings! They have a separate plate up front with GF muffins and cookies as well as GF rolls for sandwiches. Their banana chocolate chip cookies are big, fluffy and amazing but, go fast. They also have a large variety of bagels and flavored cream cheeses for those of you lucky enough to not be gluten free(I’ve had my fair share!) It gets really busy in the mornings and around lunch time but, the people working their make sure it goes fast and efficiently so even with a line wrapped around the little cramped storefront, I’ve never had to wait very long. It’s a great place to go and have lunch outside with your dog. I’d recommend: Iced Spiced Chai made with Almond milk and a GF banana chocolate chip cookie. Trust me, you won’t even know it’s gluten free :)

Super delish sandwiches, yummy baked goods, chill vibe and wicked nice counter help! I had #15 which was turkey, cheese, pickles and pepperoncini, grilled. Tasty to the last bite!

Easily the best coffee shop in Rhode Island. I worked there a while ago and got let go but still regularly go in when I can. The owners are really good people. Iced coffee is never watery always delicious they do not skimp on products only thing I would recommend is asking for a little less cream cheese on the bagels as they usually put on but this place is awesome sandwiches can’t be beat and the spinach pies are awesome. The coffee shop itself is really small I would not recommend staying for too long as there is not a lot of space especially when the high schoolers invade but definitely try it out you will not regret it!

Jitters has been a staple for North Kingstown for many years. The great coffee and sandwiches give it that non«chain» type place. I’ve been going to Jitters since I was a freshman in high school. Now I’m 24 and any time I’m back in NK I always enjoy stopping in. Life is too short to drink crappy coffee!

When I first went in I ordered a muffin and a coffee, the lady seemed fine about this order, when she asked if I would like anything else I said yes a veggie panini she seemed very aggravated that she had to make a sandwich. Forgive me if I am wrong but isnt that her job? I wanted a panini but am a vegetarian so asked for a veggie panini. The girl seemed very confused by this, which I don’t understand, you guys do custom panini offering the customer to build their sandwich. So she said what do you want on it, I said whatever comes on the veggie wrap is fine, I just wanted it to be a sandwich with bread, which that is what a panini is. She went in the back and just made me a veggie wrap! I got back to work to find she just did what she was going to do so I called and she said panini just means a hot sandwich. I don’t work in the restaurant business but that is not true a panini is made with bread, that is why a panini is called a panini and a wrap a wrap. I spent close to 10 dollars in your café and don’t think I will be returning. Its also soggy as can be, its almost inedible and upsetting that I paid for something that I can enjoy.

I should just give up but this dump is so close to home I keep trying to have a decent experience. Ordered a breakfast sandwich to go via telephone. The girl told me 5 minutes. I knew better and stayed in my car for at least ten minutes before going in. Ordered my coffee and told the girl I was picking up a phone order. So I get my coffee, and wait, and wait and wait. Finally someone comes from the back with a sandwich but it’s not mine. It’s for the customer that walked in after me. I ask if I’m gonna see my sandwich anytime soon. At which point they find it just sitting in a corner. So now I get a soggy, cold egg wrap that is so poorly made I might as well have just thrown it out immediately Typical Jitters. Inattentive and unapologetic. Twenty five minutes for a breakfast sandwich and all I got was a condescending giggle and an empty sorry. It’s painfully obvious that there’s so many basic ugg boot, and north face wearing twits lining up for this places pathetic wears that they really couldn’t care less about customer service. Apparently I have to give a star? You deserve nothing Jitters.

Great coffee that hits the spot every time. You can tell that Jitters never intended to be a huge coffee place as it is very small and quaint. The girls at the counter make the coffee for you, which if you’ve ever been to a non-drive thru starbucks is a godsend. I’m not sure what they put in the coffee, but I love every sip of it. The baked goods are good too. They seem to be homemade and taste as such. They offer a frequent coffee club where you drink 9 and get the 10th free. This place keeps me nice and awake and calms my coffee addiction when I need it. I love this place.(Please just expand the building!)

A comfy and cutesy coffee shop in the middle of NK. Only been here a few times since moving to the area and it definitely gets my vote; great breakfast sandwiches, speedy service and high powered coffee. Let me stay on the coffee for a second; if a lot of caffeine messes with your system, I’d start with a small. Both the wife and I had large coffees, black and we were wired well into lunch! It tastes great, don’t get me wrong, but I think they named this place ‘Jitters’ for a reason! Seems like most of the traffic coming through the doors picks up stuff to go but there is some seating if you’re looking to hang out.

A cute little place with amazing bagels and good coffee. I discovered this place while running some errands in South County and I’m glad I didn’t miss it! I was in need of a quick meal and coffee, and this really hit the spot. The place is really tiny, so it does get packed easily. But be patient; it’s worth it. I watched a couple of people open the door and then turn around and walk out. Seriously? You can’t wait 5 minutes for your coffee? Obviously it’s gotta be good if there’s so many people here! Have patience! So I waited, and it was definitely worth the wait. Large cappuccino = $ 3 and change. Where else can you find prices like that? And it was damn tasty. I also got their soup of the day, which was kale and sausage, and a bagel for dipping. The soup was good, but the bagel was amazing. It was warm, soft, doughy and fresh. If they weren’t running low(it was noontime-ish) I probably would have brought home a ½ dozen. In addition to the bagels, they have a case full of pastry and calzones, as well as a menu of sandwiches and soups. They also have gluten-free selections that are kept away from the other goodies and are clearly labeled. This is definitely a URI hotspot and rightfully so. Snagging a table may pose a challenge if it’s busy, but I was able to grab a seat within a few minutes. All of the girls working were really nice and worked quickly. Zero complaints all around! I’m not around the area much, but hopefully I’ll be back for some bagels!

So, I remember back in high school, I would stop here and grab a bagel in the morning… Of course, after moving out of Rhode Island for quite a few years, you figure if it hasn’t shut down, everything about the business has changed. It’s just so common with small businesses. Although, it seems to have gotten better. I have visited a few times now and enjoy their selection of coffee which changes daily. So far, I have tried: Funky Monkey — I like. Banana and mocha, possibly my favorite so far. Biscotti — Also very good, well, if you enjoy biscotti. Crème Brule — Alright. Vanilla with a hint of spice. Chocolate dipped strawberries — Meh. I like mocha, but strawberry and coffee, not my ideal. My boyfriend tried one of their Red Bull fruit fusions,(with passion fruit), which was a little sweet for me but he enjoyed it *very* much. The service has been wonderful no matter the time of day and no matter the amount of questions I have. The food sounds appetizing and I am certainly going to grab a sandwich one of these days. I take a star off for their lack of space. It gets crowded quickly, but luckily, the girls move very fast. You just have to hope for a nice day, so you can sit outside at the picnic tables.
