My 1st «one star» review is awarded to this place! Much deserving I may add. Customer service is HORRIBLE… I literally had to use the step ladder to get the product I wanted. Nobody asked me if I needed help the WHOLE time I was there either, as if a dreadlock wearing 6 foot 1 inch buff black guy is hard to miss in an Asian owned establishment! I ended up spending $ 22 in this place for shampoo and conditioner, along with 3 prong clips. I returned the next day to exchange the shampoo/conditioner due to it not being the exact kind my lady needed. It was never used or opened and I had the receipt as well. They told me I couldn’t exchange the items because it was a liquid! WTF? So instead of being the angry black guy I told them I was going to Unilocal their businesses. I doubt they cared or even knew what Unilocal is. LMAO

I like this place because it had a wide variety of hair products especially for African American hair. I don’t wear weaves but I seen that they had LOTS of different hair to purchase there. I’d initially called this store to make sure they had what I was looking for and the lady actually went to the back to see if they did or not.

The location is not the best. I can never tell if I will be kidnapped, asked for money, or if my car will still be there when I return. But I must say this is my favorite bsw in town. They stay well stocked and the staff is helpful and full of compliments. Best place to get your she-me-her on!

Worst place ever to get your hair done. my hair was ripped out by the weave and I had to remove it two days after I paid over 300.$$$ for the hair and the sew-in the hair was not reusable do to a bad sewing job. overpriced my appointment was at 12 o’clock my hair didn’t get done until 6:40pm very dirty and no available price list. Worst place ever to get your hair sew-in weave at!!! When I called to make my appointment I was quoted one price and when I got there the price doubled. Did not receive a shampoo hair wash, hair blow drying, conditioning or a proper braid out no good braid out pattern was used very sloppy with a jumbo sized braids my weave did not lay flat And I could not sleep with the jumbo size braids

Of all the BSW locations I think this is my favorite. It is not the largest location but it seem to have the more selection than the location on Rancho. I typically go here to find hair but recently I found that they have NYX make-up for great prices.(However, this location does not have the best selection. The Maryland PKWY location has the market cornered on NYX.) I have down graded the rating because they have gone up on the price of human hair considerably and for the quality of some of that hair it is highway robbery. However, they still have a great variety of hair, hair pieces, and wigs for the ladies to choose from. I think I will continue to shop here but I will be doing more online pricing for hair so I know if there pricing of the hair is fair or not.(Possibility for see more online hair purchases for me in the future as well, but we will see.) I would suggest this place to ladies or gents look for black hair care products because they do have a good selection in that area. And if someone is on need of hair I would suggest this place(in addition to some other I frequent. IJS ;-P Becuase Im Equal Opportunity! lol)

I’ve found a new beauty supply to swear fealty to! This store is packed with both well-known and hard-to-find hair care and beauty products, along with hairpieces & wigs, styling appliances, accessories, tools, skincare, men’s grooming, and a couple of drugstore cosmetic brands. If you haven’t been able to find that extra-gentle shampoo you used to love, they might have it here. And if they do the price will be lower than you’re expecting.(Example: a scalp treatment I had to go to the dreaded Wal-Mart to find last week was almost a full dollar cheaper at BSW. And this is a product that is only around $ 4 to begin with. 25% less? Score!) I could knock off half a star for the somewhat gritty feel of the location. The area feels a little run-down and the store itself has a plain cement floor and industrial style shelving throughout. Take the ‘warehouse’ part of the name very literally. The aisles and displays are also a little too close together, resulting in a mildly claustrophobic feel. The same goes for the parking lot. I imagine the narrow spaces barely hold larger trucks or SUVs. But the ‘cons’ are minor quibbles compared to how frustrating it can be when you’re searching for one specific product and just can’t find it. BSW is easy to get to from Highway 15; check it out. EDITTOADD: I checked the price of the scalp treatment mentioned above at a local CVS this weekend. $ 6.50! This means Beauty Supply Warehouse is almost $ 3 cheaper. And that is insane.
