Grateful Birth

I have five children. Three were hospital births and two were home births. The midwife for my first homebirth showed up seven hours after my water broke, and missed catching. Kellie showed up immediately when I called her. When she checked to see how far my labor was, she discovered my little boy was coming into the world face first. She made sure there was a plan in place if there was an emergency. She hummed and prayed to herself while checking on the baby with every contraction. She found the best position for me to ease my son into the world and he became my quickest birth– only four hours! She was great about including my family in the event. She showed my children the awe in birth. She took her time after the birth helping where she could, making sure the baby and I were both doing well.
Kellie’s prenatal care was wonderful. She let my children help and encouraged them to learn about what was going on. She answered any questions we had and never made us feel rushed. If I called with questions, she responded in a timely manner.
Kellie loves babies and the loves having the privilege of helping them come into the world. The health and well-​being of the mother and baby are a high priority to her.
