Let me first address the two reviews I just read. The gentleman with the solar panel problem should be talking to solar city not complaining to the community or even the builder. Solar city offers this deal to anybody that wants it at no charge. He did not pay $ 11,000 for any solar panels. Solar city is constantly at Home Depot every time I walk in the door asking me about putting on solar panels on my home at no charge. Next Kelly C obviously does not live here. We are a senior community and our hours for using the pool is virtually day and night. If you as a visitor show up with children that is absolutely correct there are hours set aside every afternoon for visiting children. As for security we that live there press the button in our car in drive through the gate. As a visitor you should have set up with the people you are visiting a pass or a convenient way to get into the community rather than complain about security. Again we are a senior community that pays 1.7 million dollars in association fees for our services we receive and the safety of our community. I am sorry if you is a visitor are unhappy with us if you would like to contribute to our association fees we might look into accommodating your needs. As for the builder they are a good builder for the price of the home. As for the community it is friendly it is clean and it is safe. It is also a well-kept up community.

Always an issue whenever we visit, whether a long wait at security or not being able to use the pool– always something. Would not recommend, especially given how far it is from Las Vegas

Shea Homes is a reputable builder in other states like Arizona, California and Washington. They advertise their Ardiente 55+ subdivision in North Las Vegas as SheaXero no power bill home. But NV Energy will still bill you a $ 10.50 service charge per month. I have been conserving my energy since last month’s bill was $ 85. Today I received a bill for $ 52 since all I do is watch TV till 7pm before retiring to sleep. I complained to the builder that there are not sufficient solar panels on my roof but they have made NO attempt to have Solar City come out and rectify the problem. I asked Solar City to come investigate my roof panels and see if there are broken panels or malfunction solar panels, but they claim that I have to have their modem installed through an internet service. So now I’m forced to pay cable internet that I don’t use anyway AND have yet to receive a Solar City modem so they can could monitor my inverter box. I have calculated that my savings is $ 25 a month or 170 kw. For a $ 11,000 solar panel system, that doesn’t compute to be a wise investment. Very disappointed in Shea Homes.
