Flanigan’s Seafood Bar & Grill

Been hre twice and have tried four food items. First the firecracker shrimp and the fried shrimp are cooked in the same batter which is gross. It has some type of seasoning that made this the worst shrimp I have ever had in my life and talk about grease. Gross. But the Cajun chicken pasta dish is very good. There is lots of it nd I enjoyed their rolls. The wings are not breaded nor do they have a dry rub. They are little but not puny. Great thing Is they have specials during the week, for example, Wednesday buy a pitcher get wings for free. But probably The best thing we have ate is the philly steak sandwich. Meat is tender and the roll is soft and tasty. Btw the fries come with some very salty seasoning like lowrys. so beware and they give you a lot of them.

Went to this Flanigan’s location for the first time a few days ago since we were out west visiting my Mom, so we took her to dinner there. Our server was so nice and attentive, and she seemed to walk up the table at the exact time that we needed something. We had the Lemon and Herb Tilapia, Lemon Salmon, Joe’s Meal Deal Ribs & Fries, and our 6 yr old had his usual mini corn dogs. Everything was really good and with the service, it was a great experience. If we are out this way again, we will definitely stop in.

Our bartender BRANDON is not only new to their team, but made us feel welcome. He was sincere, and that’s much appreciated! Refreshing, actually. Glad they have a nice young man to bring a great vibe! His trainer (which I hate to bring up) was a bit overbearing, especially in front of guests, but Brandon seemed to take the criticism like a champ. #goodpeeps

Ok.. they have excellent EVERYTHING! Food is awesome & staff is right on! I don’t have great memories of the owner on St Patty’s Day a few yrs back but all else is perfect!

We came to Ft Lauderdale on vacation and while waiting for our room went to lunch at Flannigan’s. We really enjoyed the atmosphere from the moment we walked into the establishment. The hostess was polite and seated us right away, telling us the name of our server. Our server Ari was informative gave us good suggestion and acted as if she herself really enjoyed the food. The other waitress as well seemed to have regular customers and called them by name and was very personable. The manager also made rounds and was there to support and help his staff as well as establish good customer care. Even though this was a bar and grill it did not scream bar and had excellent food.

Had the «meal deal» that included salad, entrée, side and drink. Garlic rolls are dripping with butter and awesome. More tilapia than either of us could eat. Great good, great price, great service!

I love the ribs at Flanigan’s! As far as I’m concerned, these are the best ribs in town. They are meaty and so tender that they really do fall off the bone. The sauce is a superb blend of sweet and tangy.
Now, onto other matters. We got there at 5:00 on a Monday and the place was packed. We were lucky to find parking. Fortunately there was only a 10 min. wait for a table. Our waiter, Matt, was terrific. He explained all of our options in cheerful detail and didn’t miss a beat on anything all night.
We went for a combo deal for the full rack of ribs, Caesar salad, baked potato and 3 garlic rolls. The salad was not a totally traditional Caesar, as the dressing was on the creamy side and it had tiny bits of bacon. If you’re going to put bacon in a Caesar, it should at least make a statement and this didn’t. The rolls were hot and covered with garlic butter. They were smaller than the rolls at other locations and the garlic had a bit too much of a bite. The baked potato had an off flavor, so I didn’t each much of it.
But at the end of the day, Flanigan’s still gets four stars because of the ribs. Everything else is superfluous.

Awesome prime rib & salmon! Fun to have trivia on the table :) We came on recommendation from Hampton Inn nearby — almost didn’t find (on the side of a liquor store — look for green lights) staff very friendly and attentive, will come back again when in this area! Thanks Debbie & Joe!

A little skeptical about trying franchise local spots. I love the mom and pops places with authentic food but this place didn’t disappoint. I tried the firecracker shrimp and the baby back rib. My fiancée had the salmon burger. All the food was delicious and came out very quickly. I’d certainly recommend this to anyone coming to Ft Lauderdale

The burgers were good, but the «dirty rice» was just tasteless instant rice that looked like dried library paste. Overly loud music so people cannot talk and dirty booths … why waste time and money here when there are so many better places.

Had a super meal. The seafood gumbo was the best I ever had more seafood than you can imagine.
Not those little baby shrimp but they had the big ones in there. Mad max tore up a big plate of ribs that looked great

Typical chain-​restaraunt vibe from this place. Food is consistent and you won’t leave dissatisfied. Ordered ribs and fries and thoroughly enjoyed both. Service was slow, I think they forgot about us. I would come here again for the drinks specials but if I’m eating, I’d rather order to-​go.

A very large group of us showed up to Flanigan’s after a dodgeball open practice nearby. We were in demand of beer and food and our server, Nelson C., didn’t miss a beat.
The quality of the food is pretty consistent in comparison to the other locations. Make sure to take advantage of their daily specials!

Eat here regularly. Service is usually great, Ken is the best.
Wing Wednesday is a great deal, mahi is always rock-​solid choice, as are the cheesesteaks.

Typical American style dinning with great selection from ribs to wings to fish to pasta. Ribs are exceptional! Rocking rib rolls are a must as an app and their wings are quite delicious. Always a friendly staff! Ask for nikki at the bar, she has always been great! Fully liquor bar and beers on tap! Differently deals weekly that alternate week nights. Great value overall, good go to restaurant if you can’t make up your mind!

Found this place here on Unilocal.The reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. I ordered one of the specials steak, baked potato, Cesar salad and a soda. The price was very reasonable and the food was really good! I will be here for a few weeks on business and will definitely go back !!

I’ve been eating at this Flanigan’s location for almost 20 years. The ribs are the standard I use to judge all other ribs.
Their garlic rolls are excellent. They make a great Gumbo soup. Their Caesar salad is delicious, and I’ve yet to find one as good anywhere else.
The only drink I ever get there is iced tea, and it’s always great. I also love the large plastic reusable cups they give. They are great for taking in the car when you’re going somewhere.
I find that the service is almost always very good. Drink refills almost always come on time. The exception to that is usually if the place is very busy. But you’re going to get that just about anywhere.
The food always comes out in a reasonable amount of time, even when they are busy.
Finally, I checked the state restaurant inspection report for this restaurant, and their last review, done in August 2014, was excellent, with only two basic violations.

My boyfriend was raving about how delicious Flanagan’s wings are so I decided to check them out for myself.
It was pretty cool because we went on Wednesday and there special was buy a pitcher and get 10 free wings. Our first batch were pretty good. The second batch though were undercooked and had no sauce.
Our waitress wasn’t the most attentive either. Overall, the experience was okay. The wings were decent.
