Every time I visit a different city I look for a bead store to check out. Argenta shines as one of the most interesting bead stores I’ve visited. They have a fantastic selection of beads in a variety of materials and the selection of charms was crazy. What really stood out to me was the selection of metal stamping tools and blanks. I had always wanted to try metal stamping, but had never made the effort to get started. The lady working was very helpful and gave me some good advice on how to get started. An hour and some $$$ later, I got everything I needed.

As a jeweler, beadaholic, scrounger, digger, picker, hoarder this is heaven! The owner and staff are stellar– always eager to assist and friendly (not like some other snooty such establishments) The stock is forever changing so it’s an adventure every time you visit. It’s located in the «hip» section of town so just a jog away one can find snazzy eateries and other tempting places to browse.
Don’t forget to look in the bottom of your bag when you get home, too. Ellie, the owner/​bead goddess, likes to slip in little quotes of encouragement and creativity… kinda like a fortune cookie.
Go! You’ll be happy there and when you bring your treasures home.

Such a fun, cute store. Argenta Bead Company is located in the Argenta Arts District in North Little Rock. You can’t miss it, as it’s the only purple and lime green building around! :)
They have a HUGE selection of varying beads and jewelry making supplies. Anything from glass, to clay, to charms– you name it, they are likely to have it. The staff is really friendly, and happy to help make your creation if preferred.
Argenta Bead Company also offers classes and jewelry parties. And on the third Friday of each month, they stay open late during Art Walk. They’ve offered free and discounted jewelry, as well as hosted artists during the Walk. If you enjoy jewelry making, crafting, or just being inspired– check them out!
