My hubby wanted griot. So I searched Unilocal.I found this place. It is not easy to find and a kind of a hole in a wall place. We ordered griot and legume. There is no place to sit and dine. A few chairs for the customer who is waiting for their food. The food did not take a long time to come out. We were hungry and hapy to get our good quick! When we got home, the food was still hot and nice. I paid about $ 20 for both dishes which is a bit high for Haitian food. But the flavor of the food was amazing! And the amount of food they gave us was enough to have two meals. This place will be go to place for Haitian food for sure!

Horrible service. I ordered an hour before I came asked for my food and waited another hour just to find out the chef did not hear or get my order at all. Why take orders over the phone if you do not have them ready. They literally start making your order when you come what’s the point. I seriously hate this place, it’s beyond unprofessional. So many people walked out.

Delicious food but poor customer service. The food specifically the griot and tassot cabrit is so delicious. However, the customer service is horrendous.

Food is Great … I was a little worried as the reviews are all over the place But the Griot is very fresh and tasty and plantains are amazing as well. I got my food in under 10 minutes so the service was very fast, everything came up to 10:50 including the macaroni and cheese definitely not bad and it’s enough food for two people unless you eat like me that is

I will review their terrible customer service, they have great and amazing food but customer service comes first, and that’s what will bring me back to your business. I placed an order over the phone and they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later, informed them I was there to pickup my order. I waited 30 minutes and still didn’t get my food, people who got there after me with multiple orders got their food, I got frustrated with them and left with nothing. I doubt I will return again unless they have a better way to serve customers

Amazing Haitian food! I had the Tasso cabrit simpe(fried goat with salad and fried plantains) with macaroni. My friend had the legim comple(legim with pwa Congo rice, salad, and fried plantain). Of course, the food took time since it is made to order which isn’t ever a problem. The only thing is, the macaroni had lots of flavor but lacked salt, but that just might be my pallet.

They have Awesome griot here. As any typical Haitian restaurant there is a wait for your meal. A co worker brought me here and it was worth the wait. I ordered the ‘griot complet ’ which means it comes with rice and beans. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. The rice was pretty good as well. They also serve macaroni au gratin here. Pretty tasty. I would definitely go back again

There food is decent. They are known for the fried chicken legs. Although most ppl order griot. I personally think the fried plantion is the best thing in the whole place. Hence only 3 stars

UNACCEPTABLE!!! This has the best griot but the service is ridiculous. Last time I ordered on the phone and came in 30 minutes later. I waited over an hour, watched people come in and order after i arrived and still left before me. I ended up leaving frustrated. Well, i came back again today and of course they got the order wrong. Too many other places to settle for this lowest level of service. Will not return

Merci! Merci! Man what Griot, so tender and seasoned so well. This is truly a hole in the wall, we drove by it three times before spotting it but were we glad we found it. When we walked in we were surprised that they only serve takeout but relieved to hear so much French, not only from the staff but the customers too! This is where Haitians go when they want a slice of home. The staff was very friendly, and trust me, they’ll love you if you leave them with a «Merci, Bonsoir!» All of them, like 10 behind the counter erupted in a cheery French send-off. (Oh, the goat dish was terrific, the slaw was really spicy – excellent for me, and the fried plantains were sweet and delicious.). Get there!

Best Haitian Grio so far in north Miami. The place is small but the flavors are great!

Hands down the best Haitian restaurant in the north side of Miami. The plantains are to die for!
