Average Winn-Dixie. Absolutely nothing special besides the fact that it is near a couple of other retail stores(Old Navy, T.J. Maxx, and Dollar Tree). There are problems however(which I think is prevalent at other Winn-Dixies I’ve visited) and they are the following: You NEED to have the Winn-Dixie card to get the sale items and you need to renew it every year; they take off the promotional(sale or bogo) discounts at the END of the transaction(this means that you won’t know if the item you picked up is really for sale until the end of the transaction); they are almost always understaffed, especially at the Deli, so you can’t get an employee to help you out if you find an item out of stock; the deli and bakery is almost NEVER open(you can almost never get fresh fried chicken, fresh deli cuts, etc.); they put the sales item sign near items that aren’t for sale, and because of the taking the promotion off at the last second problem, you will almost never know that the item you picked u isn’t really for sale; finally, they sometimes don’t have popular sale items in stock.

This location is always understaffed and under stocked on their sales items. What they do stock is overpriced. If they weren’t in the center wth the dollar store, old navy and tj max I would never come here

This is one of the best Winn Dixies around. The store is always clean, and they have plenty of staff to help at all times. Rarely s wait at the checkout line. Very nice selection of produce and best price on Sprite and Vitaminwater!

Why would I review a grocery store? Because I feel that it’s my civic duty, that’s why. My wife and I lived less than a mile from this Winn-Dixie and it was our primary grocery store. Those were the worst times of our lives. The customer service here is perhaps that absolute worse that I have ever experienced in my entire life. The truly shocking part is the level of consistency to the terrible shit-storm they call customer service at the Winn-Dixie in North Miami Beach. You are guaranteed to deal with some sort of issue EVERYSINGLETIME you get to the register. Where do I start? The cashiers have personal conversations with each other WHILE they are checking customers out, employees walk around with headphones on, the self-checkout is always broken, when the manager notices long lines she goes into her office and never comes back, they close registers but leave the light on to make it seem as if it’s open, you have to bag your own items all of the time, it smells like wet garbage, all of their carts are broken in some way, you feel like you’re in the 1980’s minus the great music, the cashiers never look you in the face, let alone say«hello» or «have a nice day», the deli section is just plain weird, and their yogurt is always old. These are just some of the terrible experiences waiting for you at your local North Miami Beach Winn-Dixie, I shit you not. Good luck to you, you’re going to need it.

I like shopping here, the Hispanic ladies at the deli are always sweet and helpful. They always have specials and with the winn dixie card you get added savings. It never seems too busy, but I usually go around mid day. And the manager Dixon is always pleasant and willing to lend a helping hand. I prefer shopping here as opposed to the publix in Sunny Isles or the anything in North Miam.

Where shopping is a pleasure is def not Winn-Dixie. But I’ll come here when I need my cleaning products and crappy chocolate at the dollar store first. It’s actually all fine until you get to the check out — then I hold my breath… I always smile and and say hello. Sometimes you get an attitude, sometimes not. Today was attitudinal day. No hello back, no smile. The girl that was checking me out was yelling across to the other checkout girl about something she needed to do with a Western Union. Do they even have supervisors here? She handed me the receipt and didn’t say anything. «Thank you,» I said. Still nothing. «THANKYOU!», I said again. As if she remembered she was working it came out of her mouth. «Thank you», she reluctantly said. Unfortunately it’s too convenient to avoid this store.

Awful and uneducated people working here, very rude and disrespectful. Management turned out to be laughable. Good location for sure. I’ve been going here for a few years because it close to my house but now because a worker/manager tried to start a fight with my neighbor when he was in the store, I am reporting them to their corporate office. The guy actually told me he was going to shoot me and stuck his finger up in the air like a gun… and tried to get in my face over the whole incident(yea – great people they hire there) The food they carry is really all chemicals and nothing healthy anyway.(Kraft, Pillsbury, etc,…) even there normal fruits veggies are sub standard compared to Publix or Wholefoods. Don’t waste your money there. Its a shame to have such a bad choice of food choices/poor management in a nice neighborhood but they obvoiusly don’t care so… I mean who doesn’t have Turkey on Thanksgiving for Christmas …They dont or didn’t even try to sell them?

With their own in-house discounts if you sign up for the card and their amenity to you bringing in coupons — I vote Winn-Dixe the best grocery store in South Florida; my only caveat — if you can find a clean one that’s well managed. The Winn-Dixie up on the 163rd Street Causeway is all that and more. Friendly service; clean aisles and plenty of product. I don’t get up here as often as I want, since I don’t drive, but this last visit cum purchase gave me a receipt that afforded me the welcome information that to date for 2013, shopping there, I had saved over $ 674! woo hooooo go Winn-Dixie go!

Actually I really like this Winn-Dixie compared to some others I have been to. This store has a great selection and always seems really kept up. I think their prices are better than Publix. The parking lot doesn’t have carts all throughout it, which is a huge plus compared to some stores that have no cart returns. I do have one issue though that drives me insane here, which is the checkstands. Almost every time I go here there is only one regular checkstand open along with the u-scan lines. If I have under 15 items than I always go through the u-scan because it saves time. If I have a ton of items it is frustrating to have to get in the regular line that can sometimes take well over 15 minutes. It seems everyone wants to go in the regular line even if they have enough items for the u-scan.(I’m used to people actually using the u-scan lines where I’m from, so it’s super odd no one really uses them here) I really wish this store would open some more checkstands up when it is busy. I usually shop in the morning to avoid a good percentage of the lines but even then it can take forever. This is one thing that really bothers me here because I feel like there could easily be more checkstands open.

I LOVE my neighborhood Winn-Dixie. Previous to me starting to go there, I had heard horror stories about Winn-Dixies. The service is GREAT !!! The cashiers help me find coupons for items I don’t have coupons for, they have even run around the store looking for a specific item I want. Not to mention the savings are GREAT !!! all the BO-GO deals are awesome, coupons are great and they also have these buy 1 get 4 things for free, like one time I purchased a 12 pack of tissue paper and received a box of GLAD trash bags, Palmolive dish washing detergent and Windex FORFREE… Last but not least, its next to a TJMAX which you know what that means when I’m done food shopping ;)

This supermarket is awesome. There are always great savings, especially if you have your winn-dixie card. There are always people to help you if you need help. You have everything you need in that store, and the self check-outs make it so much more better. The food from the deli would probably be your only pre-caution. Some foods are spoiled in the deli especially the chicken. Other than that, this place is awesome.

Huge store, huge selection. BOGO, 10 for $ 10, plus the reward card for even more savings… …with prices this unbeatable, you’d think you were on food stamps!
