Terrible service. The servers were rude to us. Took 25 minutes to get a coffee and breakfast sandwich. However, the food was tasty and the coffee was good.

Fantastic place for breakfast! This is now my new breakfast spot. No need to go to calle 8 for Cuba coffee or breakfast, this is right here in the Miami Shores area. This place is hidden in plain sight! I’ve passed it numerous times and thought nothing of it. Do not make this mistake, try it out. The café con leche is awesome! The bistec a caballo is my go to brunch food. This is made with a good size Palomia steak and the eggs are done right. Now the must try is the Hialeah Breakfast, how appropriate. It comes with eggs, bacon, and croquetas! Definitely a place to stop by and have some delicious breakfast food.

Quick, easy, and cheap. Thank you, Tres Palmas for being here. I can always count on you for a good cortadito or a speedy breakfast feast.

Had another Cuban breakfast this morning! This time I had three fried eggs, croquettes, bacon, Cuban toasts and café con leche. Cuban toasts are on point! Café con leche was great too except they give you coffee in a small silver cup and then give you a cup of milk, you can pour coffee in the milk. I’ve never had croquettes before. It’s basically like meat rolled in flour and then fried. But it tasted good! This place fills up quickly! Outside patio is a great place for coffee, pastries and just relaxing! People line up to buy stuff. Would come back again for sure!!!

***Review #500*** Found this gem since Little Havana Restaurant had been closed up the road. The sandwiches are affordably priced, mostly under ten bucks. I had been in the mood for a cuban sandwich, something really ethnic during my visit to the area and different from the fancy international places near the hotel I was staying in. I checked out the Media Noche, which I was told is the same as a cuban but with sweet bread. That sounded like a win. The sandwich is stacked with ham, loads of flavor with light mayo and pickles stuffed inside. The portion is large and good for sharing too. There’s beers available by the bottle at three dollars for the domestic and fifty cents more for imported. A bucket of five would come out to be twelve or fifteen, respectively. That’s a heck of a deal. There is outdoor seating where you go up to the counter and order and then pickup when it’s ready.

Me and my boyfriend decided to pass by and try out this place. In an instant I knew I wanted churrasco since that’s what I usually order at Cuban restaurants with Moro and maduro. So the food came quick. Mind you usually when you order meat they ask you how you want your meat. They didn’t ask :/. So I see the food didn’t bring the chimichurri. So I asked for it. Usually when you order a typical churrasco, it ALWAYS comes with chimichurri(most of the Cuban restaurants or anywhere they sell churrasco brings it) so they bring me the sauce and it was nothing like a chimichurri taste I was so sad :(overall to make it short… It was ok. Nothing special had better churrascos. On the other hand my boyfriend order the pan con bistek it looked very delicious and it was a pretty big ! … To be honest his food looked Better than mine !!

As usual, my husband was craving for some Cuban. He wanted to have some liver. So we were near the area and we decided to try this place e. We called to make sure that they have liver. They had outside patio but we decided to stay inside. It was not so big but was clean. The liver was not on the menu but my husband was able to order it. I wanted to have a roasted pork dish but I did not see it on the menu. So, I settled for pork sandwich. When the food came, mine dish was hot but my husband dish was lurk warm. The rice did not look fresh either. The plate came with two sides and my husband ordered the white rice and tostones. But we were charged for the tostones. I am thinking maybe when my husband ordered some fresh onions, they treated pieces of onion as side??? Anyway, the plain liver plate was $ 11.99 !! It’s not a fancy restaurant and the liver costs over $ 10 ??? My sandwich was fine. Nothing to wow about. We won’t be back to this place… I guess I will try somewhere else.

All around experience kinda crappy the waitresses were slow to get me my food and the shake I ordered was watered down. When I finally got my sandwich which was a media noche the bread was soggy and not crispy at all this place sucks

I’ve lived in Miaminfor over 20 years so I can navigate a cafetería without any problem. I know I can’t judge a place simply on one dish, but the Cuban Sandwich is pretty much a standard. It was over toasted, over loaded(wet) with mayo and mustard and just fell apart as you ate it… no bueno! AND $ 2 on an American coffee refil.

I’ve been here a bunch of times. Food is always good. Their sandwiches and breakfast are great. I usually get the croqueta preparada. The menu is perfectly priced and portions are great. Service could be better but I’ll definitely continue to keep coming back!

I dig this mom and pop spot. I had the #5 for breakfast and I love that you get to mix your own café con leche. The cuban bread and the croquettes here are amazing! I’ll be back here the next time I am in Miami. :)

The Milanesa was good. Coming from chicago and used to the milanesas mexicans make(really good too), I ordered one. I forgot it comes breaded and topped with tomato sauce. Ham and cheese. I couldn’t finish it(but I took it). The congris(cuban rice and black beans cooked together) was great. Everybody was happy with what they got. Coming back again!

Brilliant outdoor café, wish there were some where I live. Loved the coffee and the pastries, fresh empanadas made it a complete gastronomical experience for the heart!

I gave this place three stars, just for the fact that they have no one that seats you, there is no host and you are just standing, around when it’s self seated. I did not see a sign that said, self seated. Once you are inside you practically have to run to a booth, because there are people that cut in front of you and try to get a table. My food was great by the way and the coffee was amazing but I feel like it has to be a little for organized. By the way good luck on having a waiter or waitress to come by and see if everything is ok.

Local haunt, for sure… We ate breakfast here twice on our week-long vacation. I got plantain chips and café con leche both times. The first time I just had an empanada which was flaky and hot… topped with their hot sauce which reminded me of taco sauce from Allsups which is a good thing… in case you were wondering. I usually horde that stuff. Actually, I just realized I should have swiped a bottle while I was in here… all the things I could put that stuff on!(Three Palms… bottle it and keep me from becoming a klepto) The second visit I had a Cuban sandwich. It was absolutely perfect. I only got half of it down because it’s massive, but the quality and the price couldn’t be better. Service was a bit hit or miss… not what you go there for, probably, but when the place is full of cops eating before(or after) their shift, you know it’s going to be tasty.

After years of coming to Three Palms, I finally understand why this place is always packed… ALWAYS. As I said in my original review I only had been outside to have a beer and my wife usually gets a café con leche. Today for the first time we decided to have breakfast inside and the inside dining room was completely full except for one table we were given. It was a Saturday but we had the breakfast/lunch menu but it was fine, we were there after 11am so it could have been either. We ordered from the breakfast side and I have to say the prices are very reasonable. We both had 3 eggs, choice of meat(I ordered sausage, my wife had bacon) along with what are called«croquetas» and Cuban toast. These croquetas from what I could gather are ham filled, breaded fried delights. They sort of look like fried cheese sticks. The Cuban toast is basically a long piece of Cuban bread, sliced and buttered and toasted. The bread is really good and something I don’t see very often because I never see it at home. Both breakfasts come with our choice of coffee so I had a Cuban coffee(basically strong with sugar, espresso type) and my wife had her favorite café con leche. This amazing sit down breakfast after tax was less than 16 dollars. This is a great deal. The service is always friendly and fast(refills, table clearing etc) and the food is always good. It’s no wonder the parking lot is always packed and why it’s not uncommon to see police pop in and out just for coffee etc.
