Never would it have occurred to me that a coffee spot would have pizza on their menu… Well, this place does! I’ll be quite honest, I didn’t try their coffee so I can’t say much on it. I went for lunch to try their pizza that a friend had mentioned were really unique and delicious. And no doubt do they have so much variety on the choices of pizza you can get with toppings that you wouldn’t expect to be on a pizza, like pulled pork! So I decided I would try their Napoli pizza and the Brisket pizza(btw, they have 2 sizes, 10″ and 12″). I really did wish the pizza had more flavor, but it was enjoyable. At the end of the day it is a coffee place so you can expect much from the pizza. But I did love the unorthodox toppings that they do put on them. The service was good and the ambience was ok. I most likely will return in the future to try their coffee and their amazing looking desserts!

Great selection of teas. However, the attendants are super rude. It’s my second time here and every time I come and try to read the menu they keep looking at me to rush. I don’t know their menu, so how can I order without reading it? It took me one minute to order, but they definitely left me with a bad taste. This is the second time that has happened and definitely the last. I also ordered the breakfast wrap… Super dry and very plain. I ordered with tomatoes and it’s not even a half slice. Never again!

Excellent food, friendly service. Maybe the best pizza in Miami. What more can you ask for?

Yay for an independent coffee shop! They had a large array of pastries. I had to get myself a salted caramel toffee donut mmmm I also had a Ghirardelli mocha to go with it. They use Ghirardelli chocolate syrup, of course, which I guess you can find anywhere. The donut could have been more moist but the flavor was on point. The mocha was thick and chocolatey but I felt like it washed out too much of the espresso flavor. I do enjoy the fact that they sell different coffee makers and accessories there! It’s hard to find a place that does.

A wonderful reprieve from the standard coffee shop and cafes like panera or Starbucks. Alaska is a wonderful café located in a strip mall behind the fiat dealership. Ambiance is hipstery and has coffee bean bags lining the back wall near the restrooms. Music is eclectic featuring Motown classics or alternative/indie. Wifi is available and free parking in the front or anywhere in the strip mall. Beer and wine are available. The place is pricey but it’s because most of the food is made with locally sourced produce or are organic. This place is a great place for coffee, studying, breakfast or lunch. The menu includes antipasti dishes, sandwiches, salads, and flatbread pizzas — only available after 11, and lots of desserts which I’m not sure are made in house or not. I usually get whatever flavored French macaroon which rotates frequently along with the breakfast sandwich which can be the whole egg or egg white, bacon or sausage, spinach, mushroom or tomato, and a variety of cheeses. And, I would get a beer — cause I would be getting off my night shift and my breakfast would be my dinner. All of that amounts to $ 16 with tip. Overall, a bit pricey, but worth it imo. Also, I’ve had the cronut which is delicious and huge — about $ 4⁄5. And, the buffalo chicken bbq pizza which is yummy and would recommend.

Very good cappuccino. They have almond milk which is a plus! Great selection of pizzas, sandwiches and croissants. Pastries looked really good as well, we didn’t try this time. Opted for vegan pizza, crust was good but a little soggy in the middle. Friendly service. Plenty of tables and patio outside. Would definitely come back.

I have to say, my experience here was pretty sad. I’ve been living around the corner here for awhile and never made a trip until today. We walked in very excited to try things and we are standing looking at the menu and a few minutes later proceeded to the counter to order. The veggie wrap that I got from here was terrible and there was no flavor. I don’t know what the hell I experienced but it was dry on top of being pretty tasteless. This place isn’t cheap so to be that bad it’s really disappointing. However my partners garlic aioli chicken was amazing. Very very good. To go into why I am giving this place a one star is 100% based of my customer service experience. When customer service is so bad that you can’t even rate the restaurant higher based on at least one of the tasty meals experienced, it is so unfortunate. Also unfortunate for the potential other people who work for this café that are polite and just well mannered while at work.

My beverage class took a fieldtrip over to Alaska Coffee Roasting this morning(because our Chef is cool peoples) ;) and I’m so happy we did! Mike(who actually lives in Alaska) showed us how he roasts the beans in house. It is a very cool and surprisingly fast process. I think it was really nice of them to host us and show us around the shop. Afterwards, they let us sample a few French Pressed coffees, which were pretty good. Since it was barely 9am, I was in the mood for breakfast. Luckily, ACR has plenty to choose from. I had a VERYTASTY bacon, ham, cheddar and scrambled egg croissant sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie(which they warmed for me in their wood oven… cool!) They have lots of seating(indoor and out), SOMANY pastries, desserts, and beverages to choose from. I will definitely be back soon. Thanks Alaska Coffee Roasting!

Right when you walk into this place, you are immediately reminded why getting coffee at a locally owned business-no offense to my corporate conglomerate compadres!-is«THE» way to go. There are these very artfully done signs with hand written letters in bright colors describing special items for the day, there are the menus(looking more like carefully crafted pictures), and you see a menu with myriad choices; this includes not just coffee, but really awesome, healthy breakfast food items-and the«cheat day» delicacies sweetened with syrup if you so choose. The seating area is spacious and there are nice wooden chairs you can sit and relax at and either sit by yourself doing work like I did, or you can bring friends or family; its designed so wonderfully that it feels welcoming and warm, and it helps to facilitate comfort, relaxation, and conversation-something you can’t do in the silo-esque designs of many many chain coffee shops. In other words, you need to go there. If you are still reading, something is wrong with you, you should have already been there! Hahahahaha P. S.: They have«GREAT» service too! #supportlocalbusinesses

Hidden gem. Pizza is some of the best in the city. I’d say it’s the best pizza in a place with a laid back vibe by far. The shephards pie is dope as hell. It’s not on the menu and you have to wait 20 minutes for it but totally worth it. Aesthetics and service on point+++

Review strictly on this location offering cold brew, their food selection and general atmosphere! This coffee shop carries cold brew coffee so for that 5 stars! If you know you’re coffee then you know cold brew, with its delicious taste and HIGH caffeine content(over 300mg per cup I believe) is not found everywhere. I have found smaller chain coffee shops tend to carry this time consuming to make coffee and for that reason alone I will drive to any coffee shop that carries it, but will I stay? Well that depends on what else the shop offers! If I am in the area I will definitely pop in and grab a cold brew and find that it’s generally a quiet atmosphere. There are plenty of seating options and little café tables with plenty of plugs if you’re looking to work on your computer. If you’re looking for a coffee shop with trendy music, couches, activities and that random person with a dog chillin this might not be the location. Based on my personal experience it seems a bit more corporate design like Starbucks where it’s quick and efficient, a plus, but as far as unique… maybe not so much. One HUGE plus that this coffee shop has over every other coffee shop I’ve been to nationwide… food selection. I travel for a living and so I find myself in many coffee shops hours on end doing my work. One thing I find that is missing in all of these shops is a lack of food! A croissant is not going to hold me over if I’m planning to stay a few hours and drink a couple cups of coffee. I want real food! I hate having to leave my work unfinished because a shop doesn’t have enough food or a heathy selection. Well, not here! Huge advantage. If you’re hungry or even looking to work for a few hours this is definitely a spot to consider as you won’t be disappointed. Sandwiches, soups, pizza etc offered so kudos! Check this spot out for their cold brew and food selection :)

This is basically a high scale upper class Starbucks. The atmosphere is nice. There is way more selection,(they actually have teas, and even the exotic ones like teas from Africa). Then they have the usual run of the mill Starbucks shit, frappuccinos etc. I had an earl gray and it was wonderful. I ordered a yummy Italian sandwich. At first I thought 10 $ for a sandwich was kinda pricey and Unilocal had lied to me about the prices, but my sandwich was massive. Almost a pound of sandwich. Like holy shit. And I liked it and I was satisfied. This is what a café should be like.

Perfection in EVERYWAY! Super low key, quiet and relaxing location and a friendly staff that will keep you coming back. Delicious and robust coffee flavors and the almond milk option is an anti-lactose chicks dream come true. Try their baked goods, breakfast croissants and pizzas. The quality of their coffee is by far the best I’ve tasted in my hood. My favs are the white chocolate mocha and the Nutella stuffed donuts.

I loved this place, the coffe is better than Panters and the ambiance was less snob. Is not cheap but it just worth every cent. I tried a latte but also have a taste of the coffee of the day(that day was«Guatemala» and it was amazing) for only $ 1,50 you get a premium coffee that don’t even need sugar, because good coffee doesn’t need it! We went on a sunday morning, it wasn’t busy at all and the staff was super friendly. I’ll come back soon.

After a very busy weekend we were looking for a place that serves great coffee and brunch type food. When we walked in we saw a stone oven for pizza and a large display of beautiful pastries. My husband ordered a sausage, fried egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant with a latte. His order came out fast and the design on the latte was beautiful. I ordered the quick Lorraine, fresh squeezed orange juice and a small coffee of the day. I loved the flavor and it was heated up to a perfect temperature. My mother in law ordered the spinach and cheddar quiche and a latte. The spinach cheddar quiche was heated up perfectly but the flavor was not as tasty as the quiche Lorraine. The kitchen got busy and they did not bring the quiche out with the sandwich. They were kind about it when we mentioned they forgot it. It was busy which is a good sign! They also had a bunch of gift items like French presses, coffee bags and tea. We will be back!

I used to come here for the shepherds pie and white mocha… I just left from this place SUPER disappointed. Everything is super expensive and the white mocha they made me looked SOOO gross and on top of that tasted like they mixed milk and instant coffee… And a sandwich is $ 17??? Really? And apparently they don’t sell the shepherds pie. It’s seasonal? Wow Get your shit together Alaska coffee…

Coffee! It’s a fun thing for me to think about, it’s tasty to drink and it’s a pleasure to write a great review on! From one end of the non-contiguous United States to the other, Alaska Coffee Roasting brings it! A totally down to earth, cool-vibe and super friendly atmosphere is what you will get when enter the doors of this small local business. I figured coming here I would be able to get a decent cup of Joe and my Fiancé would get a croissant or cookie, but how wrong I was! Sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups and lots of other full meals to choose from. I opted on my first visit for the«Vegan Hummus Wrap» and it was so fresh and delicious! My Fiancé had a tuna with cheese wrap and also thought the flavor was magnificent. I am a self-proclaimed coffee snob and expert(ha!) and so I had to do my obligatory order of just the most plain-Jane cup of fresh roasted regular American coffee! I had their(coffee of the day) which on this day was the«Mexican» flavor, and it too was fantastic! I will be back for sure to try the fresh press and the«Steam Punk» styles, which I am sure, will be awesome as well! I would love to also make a «shout-out» to the cashier/employee who took our order and was so cordial; he even gave me a free cup of regular coffee of the day to go! I just loved it and had to ask for me! We surely will be back and will try other delights! Oh, by the way, the chocolate chip cookie as a sweet treat was scrumptious — but I am sure their«Cronut» is going to be even better! Just a heads up for our next visit!

Absolutely delicious! I literally will drive 30 minutes out of my way on Sundays to come have breakfast here with my boyfriend! Alaska Coffee Roasting is tucked away in the back of a plaza, so blink & you’ll miss it! I’ve been to Alaska twice now for breakfast on Sundays and it satisfies every craving. I order the breakfast sandwich which allows you to choose how you want your eggs cooked, which meat or veggie you’d liked, and which bread you’d like your sandwich made on. I always order the croissant with bacon and eggs over easy. Delicious! I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich like this anywhere else. Now on to their coffee… Alaska Coffee Roasting allows you to choose from a large variety and the portions are very generous. I usually go for the large cappuccino to accompany my sandwich and it adds the perfect touch to my meal! I definitely recommend Alaska Coffee Roasting to anyone with an appreciation for good food and great coffee! Can’t wait to come back and taste the pizza!

I’m becoming a regular at this neighborhood coffee joint. Its 2 doors down from my dry cleaners which is convenient. I’ve been here before twice just to grab coffee to go. They roast their own coffee in the back. They also have plenty of food offerings from breakfast danishes to pizza & sandwiches. I got hooked because of their breakfast sandwiches… they are made to order! I’ve been looking for a place close by that puts real cooked eggs in breakfast sandwiches. I never really liked the sandwiches offered at Einstein’s nor Starbucks because they microwave the eggs or nuke pre-prepped sandwiches and often comes out soggy & tasteless. Here at Alaska, you get choices on how you want your eggs done to put on your sandwich… over easy, fried, scrambled, etc. I have tried 2 of their croissant breakfast sandwiches. Turkey, egg whites, swiss, mushrooms & spinach. Sausage, fried egg & spinach. You can practically customize your sandwich the way you want but the best part again, it’s made order. It goes in the brick oven, fried egg comes out nice & crusty and cheese is warm and gooey. This place also has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and offer wifi. I will have to try their lunch items on my next visit.
