We got pulled pork sandwich with two sides, pork was good, baked beans good, Cole slaw was good, fries are good Mac & cheese not good first night we went it was 8:00 on Friday night they told us they were closing and we were turned away

This place had great prices and even greater tasting food. First of all the manager answered and said he would stay open for us. Second my boyfriend and I couldn’t even think of Unilocal while we were presented the food by our doll baby waitress. As soon as it hit the table I was so tempted I had to bite in pre picture, apologies. EAT HERE even off season!!!

If your feel like eating ribs that fall off of the bone .BBQ sauce that just makes your taste buds fall in love. With an atmosphere that says welcome and enjoy this is your place. The service was absolutely fast.

My rating is based on the smoked chopped BBQ pork. We thought it was well prepared and I enjoyed sampling all the sauce flavors. The hush puppies with cinnamon butter were very good too! Super casual, but quick sit down service by very nice waitresses.

Awesome place to eat. I am from NC and eat barbecue at some of the well known barbecue restaurants. They are up there with the best. It is the best barbecue in this area. I always try to eat here when I come down on the weekends.

This is my go-​to spot for ribs in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s reasonably priced, the food is good. The décor is sort of IHop meets Denny’s, but we don’t go for the ambiance.

Had a long blonde hair baked into the bread of our sandwich. I was going to let it go until I was feeding my daughter and there was a totally different, smaller blonde hair in the green beans. When returning the food and explaining the hairs, my boyfriend was told «look back here?! Ain’t no white people back here!». He began to raise his voice and she got him the money to quiet the situation. Disgusting and just the right response to inspire a review.

We (wife, kids, 9,7,4 yrs. old. stopped by for dinner. The place was clean. Big, accessible booths. The server (Nikki?) came to our table fairly fast. She was great! Very nice, patient with our order. The kids couldn’t decide on what to eat (imagine that!) she gave them a free sample of the Mac ‘n cheese. Which was great.
My wife and I got the wings for an app. They were incredible! First, smoked then deep fried. the pulled pork sandwich and a grilled chicken sandwich, both were very good. Sauces, fries, onion rings were great as well.
Food came fast, fresh. Great place for a bite in Myrtle Beach!

I thought everything was really good. Kids were happy and full when we left. Great portions and prices. I had the Pork BBQ sandwich plate with 2 sides (cole slaw and the corn) and hush puppies. Different sauces were fun to try but we all preferred the House sauce. Definitely will return

Nice atmosphere and family oriented. The servers were nice and on top of everything. The food was delicious as well. I got the pulled pork which was flavorful and moist. The hush puppies were cooked just right and the Mac and cheese was ok, not the best, but not the worst either. The family liked it so much we came back 2 days later. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Best everything! For real. Even the banana pudding was better than any other I have had, almost like it was whipped. Smokey ribs and tender turkey, BBQ sauce great and not over powering, mac n cheese was great. Hush puppies and cinnamon butter –amazing. Great service, drive thru will be used during our trip. BBQ chopped was tender and great. Really, it’s great stuff all around and they have beer on tap.

This is the best barbeque on the beach – BY FAR! I loved the smoked chicken. Also so made side options! Great corn nuggets and Mac n cheese. Delicious hush puppies and cinnamon butter come with EVERY MEAL. Wow! Also, good variety in drink choices. Very good tea. Wide variety in bbq sauce options too, so it has sauce from NC, SC, and GA based sauces and MORE. AMAZINGGGG.

I’d give it 4.5 if I could. This place is super solid. I needed food for 6 boys (ranging from 11 – 15), my husband and me. This is what our order was and there was nothing left and no one left hungry:
1 qt pulled pork BBQ
1 pt green beans
1 pt white cole slaw (they have red and white — red has a vinegar based sauce, white is mayo)
1 pt Brunswick stew
1 pt Mac & Cheese
Large order of hush puppies. (I don’t usually like hush puppies, but these are incredible!)
The order also came with BBQ sauces of our choosing. We picked a spicy vinegar based sauce and a mustard sauce. It was very delicious!!! All for under $ 50. And it was ready 15 min after calling the order in.

Food and service was absolutely incredible! Will return ASAP without a doubt. The BBQ was some of the best I have ever had, and with the long list of sides it’s hard to not get something you like. I enjoyed the pulled pork with corn nuggets and fries on their awesome patio. The fries were homemade and you could tell they were fresh cut in the kitchen. The server said they don’t even have a microwave, everything was very fresh. The souvenir cups were a great addition to. You can definitely see why they earned «Best BBQ in myrtle beach!» Well deserved!

This is without a doubt the best pork barbecue I’ve ever had. I got hooked on it a couple of summers ago at Oak Island. The service is fantastic, everyone is always very friendly. They have several different types of sauce and they are all good and the sides are good too. Really just too good to pass up.

Great chopped pork, the Carolina mustard sauce is my favorite here. Hush puppies with cinnamon butter are good. The Brunswick stew wasn’t what I’m used to eating where I come from in Georgia but some might like it. Will go again.

Excellent BBQ.
I had the ¼ chicken meal, my husband had the Big Daddy with pork and chicken.
All the meat is perfectly smoked, tender and juicy.
Hush puppies, coleslaw, corn nuggets all delicious.
The waitress did an excellent job also.
We will eat here again before we leave Myrtle Beach.

My family has been vacationing on near Myrtle Beach or Ocean Isle Beach for seemingly the last century. We come from western North Carolina so it’s great to find a BBQ place with some Semblance of a Western NC slaw/​sauce.
The waiters have always been surly and that fits right within my expectation.
I think that the «rock/​50s memorabilia» here is really forced and of does nothing for me.
Place still reads as a fast food style layout so I’d prefer it sans forced kitchy-​ness.
