I can’t say enough good things about this store and the people that own it. I live here and love to frequent the beach. No matter how organized I am, I forget something. This store is my go to place for last minute items and cravings during a day at the beach. They have absolutely everything you could ever imagine from groceries to take out; from beer to books; from gifts to beach décor. You really can get everything you need right here. The best part though? The people who work here. Just this past Saturday, I had the sweetest cashier ever(Destiny was her name). She was so polite and sweet. The people in front of me didn’t have the correct check cashing card and tried using the wrong coupon but she just smiled and continued — so patient! The owner is a very generous person too and supports the community in many ways including donating free beach parking for tourists and locals. I don’t mind paying a few dollars more if I get great service, quality items, and support a wonderful local business!

This is a cool place. We stopped by yesterday afternoon on a whim and enjoyed poking around. The hot and prepared food section I really enjoyed. We already had dinner plans otherwise I would have gotten the fried chicken special which looked mighty tasty. They have a big bakery section, big seafood counter and the second floor is mostly gifts, souvenirs and t-shirts.

This review is based solely on their prices alone. When you see the prices of normal everyday products you will think you’re vacationing in Hawaii or Tahiti. I do a tremendous amount of price comparisons and this place is absolutely gouging its customers from Milk to frozen peas, all the way to $ 14 for a $ 5 cigar. If your from PA. They carry Turkey Hill ice cream. Which you can get at a gas station for $ 4/container or typically if on sale 2 for $ 5 at your grocery store. Here $ 5.49/container. They also carry beach chairs and body boards etc. The one body board I looked at was $ 69.99. I scanned it on my amazon app…$ 34.99. I can’t stand that other place that starts with a W, but you couldn’t take little johnny to ride the ferris wheel if you had to shop here all year long.

While we were in Myrtle Beach on vacation we stopped here to get breakfast food to cook the next morning. They had everything that we needed at reasonable prices. The location and hours of operation are convenient especially for vacationers.

This place is awesome! First they have an amazing hot and cold food bar which is perfect for picking up lunch off the beach or a ready made dinner when you first get into town– they even have fresh made Susie’s daily! You can take your meal to go or they have a little sit down dining area too! The bakery is great, although surprisingly lacked gluten free items. Try any of the homemade rolls/breads and desserts– like the huge iced cinnamon buns and cannoli! They have an extensive seafood and meat department as well and the produce selection is pretty decent. Now what really sets this place apart from your typical supermarkets that they also have a huge beach/souvenir shop built right inside to meet all those items you need and forgot on vacation– beach games like paddleball, boogie boards, beach chairs, Tervis tumblers, towels… The list goes on and on! If they don’t sell it, you probably don’t need it! Finally if all that shopping made you hungry, you can visit the adjoining ice cream parlor. See!!! Didn’t I tell you this place has everything?!? Now go, go, GO!!!

Bolineau’s… it’s where everyone goes! And if you go to Cherry Grove Beach, you will find yourself going to Bolineau’s multiple times a day. It’s the closest grocery store and very convenient. We recently visited a friend’s beach house and found ourselves at Bolineau’s quite often. It’s a multi-level store with groceries on the bottom floor and gifts, beach toys, and other home goods on top. There’s also a fun tower and you can take the stairs to the top and see the beach. The food we got at Bolineau’s was great quality. For a locally-owned store, it has a buffet/hot bar and a good salad bar, as well as ice cream and desserts. However, I’d recommend the small ice cream shop adjacent to the store(it’s also owned by the same family) during the summer months. I had the salad bar and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. All the produce was fresh when I got it, and they had a great variety. Bolineau’s had a great selection of beer and wine, too. I felt like the gift area was a bit overpriced for home goods, but that’s the convenience factor of being able to buy that stuff within walking distance of your rental home. This is a good place to pick up a keychain or t-shirt at the end of your vacation, too!

I thought this place was pretty cool. It was within walking distance of our hotel while we were on vacation and we found ourselves stopping by several times. It was so convenient and we usually found exactly what we needed. The one exception was that my husband needed some beach shoes and they did not have his size(10). We also picked up food here a couple of times in the café area. We got breakfast one day, and it was not bad, although not exceptional. My husband also wanted to try the fried chicken since we had heard it was good. It was a huge chicken breast and was very moist, so that didn’t disappoint. I also picked up a hot wing to try. The meat itself on the wing was probably the best I’ve ever had on a chicken wing, and probably the largest I’ve ever had, but I’ve had better wing sauce. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and convenience of this place and I appreciated the friendly staff.

Not sure what all the hype is here… sure they have it all(well, almost all) but the prices. Geeze. I saw a small round(more decorative) table for $ 400!!! Just for the table…& it was little. Pretty, but no way. The chairs were $ 200 each. They had some good deals on a few grocery items, but if it wasn’t on sale, the prices were a little steep. There are two levels, with a big gift shop upstairs… now onto why we went in the first place. The best fried chicken around… well it was good… I’ll admit that, but probably not the best around. I’ve had better. We got potato wedges too & they were just ok. I didn’t see anything there that I’d go back for, that is unless I had a lot of $$$!

We always stop at Boulineau’s when we hit Cherry Grove. And we walk there once or twice during the week to grab something. It is a big store with two levels and elevators. Groceries, beach stuff, fishing stuff, bakery, Café, and souvenirs. Their store-branded t-shirts are only $ 8.99…about the cheapest souvenir around.

Yes it’s a great supermarket if your a tourist on vacation but… jacking up the prices in the summer is driving us(now locals) away. We were shopping there for the bakery, and meat dept. but Publix looks better and better. They say they don’t up the prices in the summer but It’s funny we will buy the aged steaks in the winter but in the summer no way, it gotten to the point that we may stop going there completely.

This store has literally everything you will need for vacation, including the best corn dogs in town. Also, the guy behind the deli counter is always singing.

Boulineu’s is a great full service grocery store and more. It’s an IGA and they carry a broad variety of items, really anything you desire. The prices are in line with other grocery stores at the beach, but if you’re staying at Cherry Grove, they’re much more convenient. Boulineu’s has a very good seafood counter for fresh fish, oysters, etc. they also own Eugene Platts Seafood Market down the street so selection and price are the same. Locals know the buffet at Boulineu’s is one of the best food values in NMB. They are packed at breakfast and do a steady lunch business. They also have a good tackle shop and a lot of beach toys, floats, games, chairs, etc.

Get what you need with a great local flavor. Yeah you pay more but keeps you out of Walmart and on the beach. Love getting my hamburger buns and fishing tackle on the same aisle. You don’t have to have a customer loyalty card to get discounts at IGA either. Gift shop with the touristy stuff upstairs and also a great deli area to get a full meal to eat there or to go. Not a trip to Cherry Grove until i make my pilgrimage here.

We have vacationed in MB for as long as I can remember and we always go to Boulineau’s. It is the perfect little beach grocery store. It is conveniently located and have everything you could possible need or want for your beach vacation. The only downside is that it is a little more costly to shop here than go down the road to the larger grocery stores. However, sometimes it is worth it not to have to make the drive.

Very big grocery store with tourist gifts/souvenirs and buffet bar. I came to this location for«cash back» option since the credit union was further away. There’s an ATM inside but it’s likely to charge. I purchased a bag of chips at the register and got cash back easily.
