This beach exceeded my expectations, my first visit to the north side. This seems far less crowded and touristy than the south side. We accessed the beach at the pier and parked in that private lot for 8 bucks, but there’s plenty of public parking along the strand.

Beautiful beach, we stayed in the area and visited this beach it was a nice alternative to the busy Myrtle Beach areas. Very clean, quiet, family friendly! Plenty of FREE public parking! Also there are public restrooms every few blocks of the beach.

Cherry Grove was a very nice beach! It had lots of cool seashells and the ocean waves were very calm and good body surfing waves. I had a blast at Cherry Grove. I have no complaints. It was the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen!

Cherry Grove Beach is part of North Myrtle Beach located where the Intracoastal water way meets the Atlantic Ocean. It’s breathtaking. Winter is my favorite time to visit. It’s peaceful and hardly a soul around. You’re completely detached from every day worries, free to think and breathe. What’s fun to do at Cherry Grove Beach: * Pier fishing from the famous 985 foot Cherry Grove Pier, home to record catches. Bait, tackle, rods rentals are available at the pier shop. All day pass is $ 1.50(free if you are lodged at the Prince Resort). * Bicycling and stroller walking. * Kayaking * Jogging, walking, shells collecting, and my favorite, photographing seagulls Here is a detailed list with more family friendly activities you can do near Cherry Grove Beach, many, many photos, where to stay(Prince Resort) and where you can eat.
