Aamco Transmissions

I’m very upset and disappointed about this business. I took my Mazda to the Aamco in North Plainfield on Wednesday afternoon, the owner Tom assured my husband and myself that he will get us a diagnosis in order to notify the guarantee company and make a repair so I can get a rental during the time my car was being repair. Yesterday (Thursday) my husband got in touch with them again and they made up an excuse saying that it seems to be a seal that is leaking but they are not sure until they take it apart. Still no claim number for the guarantee company. Today (Friday) at 4 pm my husband had to call Tom again and he said «it seems to be deeper than just a seal, but really not sure» so he would bring someone to take a look at it on Monday. Again, no diagnosis so no claim number so no rental car approval from the guarantee company. This is just plain disrespect to a client! I do not recommend this business to anybody. Hoping to get my car back soon but still waiting.

Any person who would positively review this place would have to be on crack. The mechanic here blatantly lied in order to charge a «diagnostic fee». When dropping the car off, there was NO MENTION of being charged this fee. When I was told that they were not able to perform the service, this fee magically appeared. I never asked for any diagnostic work to be done. So if you are looking for dishonestly and to be taken advantage of by charlatans, this is the place for you! Words cannot express how rude the staff treated me and I will NEVER use any Aamco ever again, as clearly the employees are of a low caliber and looking to prey on female patrons.
