North Plains RV and Self Storage

I’ve been a customer for 4 years, more or less. The guys there have become like family too me. They are always understanding and easy to talk to, even if your having a rough patch, a rough spell. I truly am thankful I am a committed customer I wouldn’t go any where else to store my stuff. And trust me it’s been a lot of stuff!!! Wendy

I have already recommended North Plains RV and Self Storage to MANY people who are now happy renters too. Just as I was referred several years ago.
Many storage places are dark, gloomy, and depressing. Face it, many renters are not there under the most pleasant of circumstances.
Not so here! Managers Dave and Aaron are friendly and helpful. The grounds are impeccably kept, well-​lit, and — frankly — welcoming.
If anyone ever needs storage facilities, North Plains is the ONLY place to be!

We’ve been storing our RV with North Plains over a year. Great people and a great facility. We could hardly wait for them to finish their covered/​paved expansion in 2012. While we had a covered space at our old place it wasn’t paved. If you own an RV you probably know the pain of having a thick layer of dust on your rig… sucks the fun right out of owning an RV. We’re now happily parked in the North Plains new covered/​paved area and couldn’t be happier.

After phoning to inquire about prices, I was told they were having a special — $ 99/​mo for the first three months of RV storage, as opposed to $ 139/​mo. Worried, that I might only need storage for a month, I asked if it would still only be $ 99/​mo if I stayed only one month, to which they said it would.
However, after I arrived and parked my RV, when I went to settle up and complete the paperwork, I was told the first month was full price, only the subsequent 3 months were discounted. This left a very bad taste in my mouth.
The clerk who helped me was very nice, as was the owner, who was there, briefly, while I was filling out paperwork.
The facility is nice and large. It has a black water dump, and potable water. It has plenty of covered, uncovered, and completely enclosed parking for your RV. I believe it also has smaller, regular enclosed storage for needs other than automotive/​RV.
The clerk did wave the $ 20 administrative fee, but, still, the practice of quoting one price and charging another is bad business.

I have stored here multiple times while moving in or out of housing, and each time I have had a great experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the property is absolutely immaculate. I felt very safe storing here and would recommend it to anyone who needs to store anything from household items to RV and/​or Boats, they have a lot of those here as well.
