After trying several places in Quincy for delivery with various results, I happened upon a discussion of locals on Nextdoor about the best delivery pizza in Quincy and Balducci’s kept coming up. Naturally I had to give it a try and ordered my go-to custom pie of pepperoni, mushrooms, olives and extra cheese. Delivery was really fast, well within the promised 35 minutes. The driver even had a handy app for me to confirm my credit card purchase with the ability to enter the tip. So, wirh that out of the way, onto the pie… The first impression out of the box was great! Just look at the attached picture. That’s what you imagine a perfect pizza to look like. I couldn’t wait for my first bite! Very good crust and dough, just the right balance between crunchy and softness, very impressive. This pizza wasn’t very greasy at all, which I know is important to many. They don’t skimp on the toppings either, and all tasted very fresh. The cheese was perfectly melted and held all the toppings great! Overall I was very impressed. The locals are definitively on to something — Balducci’s might be my new go-to! I can’t believe I’ve never heard of them in the last two years!

I have been trying to find my new favorite pizza joint forever. On a whim, I ordered a small cheese on my way home from work. I haven’t had Italian style pizza in over a year, and this one tops all the pizza I’ve ever had. Do not judge me for eating the entire pie in less than 10 minutes. I will be a regular at this place. The comfort level and complete joy, on a scale from 1 to 10, was a 100. Thank you Pizza Gods for showing me the way.

This place has delicious pizza, but I don’t like the subs. I have ordered the chicken cacciatore pizza and the philly cheese steak pizza, which were both delicious, and a chicken salad sub which was not good. I have heard from multiple people that the chicken parm sub is delicious, so I might give their warm subs a try!

We ordered the large buffalo chicken pizza, small Hawaiian pizza and a side of the sweet potato fries. The pizzas were pretty good. Didn’t taste chemically made like the chain pizza places like dominos or papa johns. All the ingredients seemed fresh. The sweet potato fries were not too great, very oily. One nice thing that the register guy didn’t have to do was take off 3 dollars. We had forgotten the coupon on the table when walking out to pick up the food. We did mention the coupon on the phone though. I would go back and try something else.

Excellent variety of good food. This place is our go to sub/pizza shop but has an extensive menu including delicious sides like mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers and broccoli and cheese bites! Delivery(about 30 min) and takeout on-line ordering options are both excellent! You can never go wrong with the small cheese pizza! To choose a particular favorite pizza is difficult because the crust is perfect for any variety of the fresh ingredients but the buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese and the steak and cheese pizza with peppers and onions are both excellent. The meat is never chewy and chicken is cut into bite size pieces instead of the large chunks you get at other establishments. I’m very picky and I can’t recall being disappointed over the 10+ years I’ve been coming here.

I haven’t been to this place since I was a kid so I figured Id give it a shot. the staff seemed pleasant. the food was good. Chicken parm sub — really good meat but kinda bland tasting sauce. still was good. buffalo chicken sub — really good buffalo sauce. tastes great. italian sub — can’t say they are cheap. the use boars head brand meats. I will definitely be back. They are one of the few businesses in the neighborhood who’s sign isnt in chinese. so thats a plus :)

My Go-to in wollaston for subs and pizza. Pizza’s are not huge, but good. This pizza doesnt hold up well for re-heating. Excellent steak and cheeses with diced onions. Closed on sundays unfortunately.

Since I originally posted my Balduccis review in 2008, I have been back numerous times and each time is better than the last. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken last week and it was awesome. Plus it was enough for two people. Normally I would rather die than share my food but i wanted my wife to experience what«greatness» is. She almost passed out it was so good! If there is a God, he is the owner of Balduccis Pizza!

I have been going to this spot for a few years and they have always been great! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They have a great pizza and the buffalo chicken is on point. Also the people that run this place are very friendly.

The PTO at my daughters school wanted to throw a pizza lunch to celebrate the last week of school and a few parents told me that Balducci’s was pretty good, so i went over and ordered a huge amount of pizza. I gave them a list of the kids lunch times and how many i needed for each. The deliveries showed up exactly on time, each lunch period, and were hot and fresh. The kids DEVOURED the pizza and there was not a single complaint. I tried it as well, and as a native New Yorker I have always been a bit of a pizza snob — and this pizza was pretty great! Great food and great service is what I will think of every time i think of Balducci’s! Thanks so much and Beechwood Knoll school will be back! :)

Pros: Good pilgrim sub when it does not have a hair in it, they will refund your money if there is a hair in your pilgrim sub, and they are very friendly when you call to complain about a hair in your pilgrim sub. Cons: There was a hair in our pilgrim sub.

If you want a slice, this is a good place. It’s quick, it’s cheap, it’s a little greasy, but it’s a decent slice. But I would draw the line there. Last night I was craving eggplant parm and thought I would give them a shot. And since I was placing an order, I thought I would get a chicken soup to have later for lunch. I ordered online and they delivered quickly… so no problem there. The problem was with the food. I opened the eggplant parm to find a ton of pasta with only TWOPAPERTHINSLICESOFEGGPLANT. So I basically paid $ 8.75 + .61 tax + 1.00 delivery for pasta. I found this a little off putting. There was nothing really wrong with the flavor, nothing special either, but it was disappointing for the cost. And today I decided to have the chicken soup. It wasn’t anywhere near chicken soup. Basically, it was veg soup in a clear broth with a few tiny grounds of chicken scrap. Overall… I would say stick with the pizza or maybe a sub.

Balduccis is an extremely solid sub shop. I’m not sure why they keep on trying to push sub par pizza when they have outstanding subs. Anything with their chicken cutlet in between bread is a safe bet. Chicken Parm, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Ranch with Bacon. the list goes on for the cutlet sandwiches I like. Their other subs are good too, with special note to their Veal Parm sub, which is my personal favorite. I would not consider a meal here ‘cheap’ by my standards. I usually pay around $ 10 for a large sub, drink, & chips. Their pizza is serviceable and they make a lot of deliveries. Also this place does not have a bathroom for customers, they only offer wet wipes. I’m not sure how they got away with this but hey, I’m here for the subs!

first time we ordered chicken wings, they were slightly undercooked. But still tasted good. When we ordered wings second time, we asked them to cook them twice for us. I placed an order for delivery but after promised 30 min, my wings weren’t here. So I picked them up myself. This time they were really good. But we can see where 4 stars are coming from.

Best pizza in Quincy. I also love their fries, some of the best ever. Only drawback is that they’re not open Sundays!

Honestly the best pizza in Quincy. Actually I’d say the best I’ve had in MA. Thin crust toppings are fresh and service is good. prices are fair.
