Brissonte’

They had me at «In Christ Alone!» It was playing on the radio when I walked in looking for a last-​minute birthday gift for a girl friend. What a quaint, beautiful and unique little boutique. They offer much more than one might think upon driving up. I have been living in NR for a few months now, and this is my go-​to spot for one of a kind gifts, and home accents. I am also preparing to sign up for a workshop to learn how to update my kitchen cabinetry with the chalk paint they use. I highly recommend you swinging in for some beautifully scented gifts, French décor, locally tagged items, and I’ll get back to you about the workshop. I can’t wait!

What can I say? My wife and I went in Brissonte looking for Anne Sloan paint and met Colleen. What a stroke of luck. We purchased paints, brushes, and wax to refinish the mantle over and around our fireplace. The paint and techniques were as advertised and we were entirely pleased with the results. However, we were ever more than pleased with the service and recommendations that Colleen was more than eager to impart to us. She was right on the mark with all of her recommendations.
Now the good part. My wife was about to have a birthday so I called Brissonte some days later and asked if they could put together a basket in one of the colors we chose and add paints of different colors, and most anything my wife would need to continue her refinishing journey with other pieces of furniture. Brissonte could not have done a better job of putting together a gift basket full of Anne Sloan materials, books, brushes and the like.
I will be forever grateful to Brissonte for creating such a successful birthday gift. My wife loved it, and I will always endorse Brissonte.

Brissonte is a hidden gem overflowing with artful, tasteful, conversation-​starting décor and gift items for any person with a Fabulous bone in her body. The creative displays are absolute knockouts, as is the pairing of the practical and the whimsical with vintage-​inspired designs. Extremely selective inventory makes for extra special knicks and knacks you simply do not see in such quantity and diversity in other such shops. You have stepped into a space right out of Paris’ Montmartre.

Great store with lots to look at! I loved the mix of old and new items. You can pick up a hostest gift, a large art piece or a sewing lesson, all in the same place! I recommend a visit.

I checked out this store a couple of months ago, not realizing it had been there for at least ten months prior! My loss as this shop has so many wonderful thoughtful items. I’ve been back a couple more time since!
Chocolates/​truffles I purchased there were delicious. Mermaid gift box — my friend loved it! Cards are beautiful and unique. Lotions, soaps, handbags, lavender — lots are unique items. I just love it!
