IM Wireless- Verizon

This store is an absolute rip off. I thought I’d save some time from driving to the actual corporate store in Reading since this supposed Verizon was closer to my house. Big mistake. I’ve gone to them twice and I should have known better than to go back a second time. The first time I went was last year to buy an iPhone charger. They sold me some sort of off brand charger which didn’t work, went back to try to return it and they wouldn’t let me even though I had the receipt. They proceeded to exchange me another off brand charger which also didn’t work. I went back again today to buy a screen protector for my phone. They charged me $ 40 for it! I know from experience that the same screen protector from the actual store in Reading is $ 25. Ridiculous.

Got an education today when I went to a corporate Verizon Wireless location (not a «premium retailer») on how screwed I got on my phone and deal. They played games and charged me for an iPhone for $ 700 that you would never know if this was correct or not until you try to upgrade. the iPhone 5s was never &700 from Verizon Wireless! Please get educated on the «Edge Plan» also. You have to be 60% or 70% deep into your plan before you can trade up and that locks you into another period. They say there is no charge for the phone haha. Its a sneaky way to get a 2 year commitment out of you. If you wanted out in 6 months you would be legally bound to write a check for $ 500 the cost of the prorated iPhone. Also do your home work on «authorized or premium distributors. They are thieves and used car salesmen. stay clear and go to a corporate office. I don’t know why Verizon Wireless lets them put that big huge sign up when it’s just like the carts at the mall. It’s essentially IM wireless with a big Verizon sign… Becareful

Great customer service and ease of checkout was in an out in 20 mins with a brand new phone in the color I wanted! I recommend to all my friends and family to go here with such a friendly staff!

You gotta be kidding! One employee in the store! And I only wanted a new battery. One person in front of me! Never coming here again.
