He takes extraordinary care and has maintained my pianos over the last two decades.
I’m a full-​time teacher and use my piano to teach from. He was miraculously able to keep my old Chickering grand in working shape until I was able to purchase my current Mason & Hamlin. He helped me find this exceptional instrument, and has done significant and spectacular work on it.
He’s very kind. He’s very thorough. He’s a superb technician. His pricing is more than reasonable. I trust him and recommend him whenever I can. If you’re looking for the best, he’s it!

I am very pleased with the piano tuning that I have received from Rob String. He tunes my piano, shares interesting stories and educates me about my piano– all with a gracious friendly attitude. The piano sounds great after he’s done. I will use Rob’s services again in the future and would recommend him to anyone who wants a piano tuned or restored.
