The Music Place has been in Business for over 25 years! Lessons, lesson books, rentals, new and used instruments, amps, consignment and repairs. Horns, piano, drums, bass, guitar, vocals. Friendly service with a smile! If they don’t have it than they will get it.

Wakefield, MA
The Music Place was extremely quick and accommodating to us while we were trying to rent a violin today. This was after Timeline Music in Wakefield treated us so poorly so I was hoping to run into a decent place. And I did. They were quick, affordable and extremely helpful. A++++++++++++ Thank goodness!

I have been going here for years. Its a great local shop. The prices are as expected from an independently owned shop. Of course could be a little cheaper but the service is good. If you arent seeing something you need the staff is very helpful and don’t sport an «im a cool musician guy» ego like you’ll find at Guitar center. Have had a couple of set ups there and some electronic work done on my bass and was very happy with all the work. I have taken a few lessons there. Schedules can be tight there but the teachers are great. Worked with Doug for a while and really enjoyed it. I’d still be taking lessons there if it were closer to where I moved. Overall great place, good folks and would recommend it to anyone.
