First time at gal line and was surprised to just roll in and have my oil swapped out while I waited. It took about 15 minutes to be done. Employees were friendly and welcoming.
The only negative I have is that full synthetic cost me nearly $ 100. We generally go to pep boys. Over there is about $ 75, however when they have a coupon they always scan one in for me so it’s about $ 60. The major difference there is I almost always have to drop the car off and pick up later since they get so busy.

This place tried to tell me my car can only receive a synthetic oil change which negates my coupon for a 24.95 conventional oil change. The synthetic oil change costs 80+ dollars! Don’t waste your time. They don’t know what they are doing. They just want to sell you the most expensive product and lie to you. They did complementary fill up my washer fluid despite leaving there to get an oil change at meineke for 24.95. Which they did because my car does not require a synthetic oil change. Also meineke synthetic oil change is like 40 instead of paying over 80 here. Please go anywhere else! You will just get ripped off and disappointed like going on a bad first date.

Very positive experience. Quick friendly service, no upselling, and the manager told me there was a Unilocal coupon for $ 10 off. It was clear that the team of technicians effectively communicated with each other. Unfortunately they also found an old parking ticket jammed under the hood, but I can’t hold that against them…

The woman and older gentleman that were working were so incredibly nice! The younger kid was so rude!
I want to love this place because of how nice the woman and older guy were, and the fact that you can drive up and get your oil changed without getting out of the car. but after they started the process… she kept saying its the «full synthetic oil» I have a BMW x3, and I know it needs to be synthetic, but I have always had «mobile 1 synthetic» so I said «yeah mobile 1» and she was like «oh no this is our own synthetic… its a lot better…» which I know actually means «ALOT MORE EXPENSIVE» So I asked… my oil chang costed 107 DOLLARS! I have never in my entire life had to pay more than 80. I was livid. I wanted to yell stop and just drive away… ugh! I give it two because of the two friendly people.

I work in the area and I drive a lot… so I get oil changes every month or two. I bought the car new a year and a half ago and have done every oil change at this valvoline. They are always quick, never try to sell me extra stuff (maybe because its a new car?), and they can rotate my tires (I have a wrangler and some valvolines don’t have the right equipment to jack up my car). Great service overall.

I haven’t had a bad experience yet. They are always friendly and polite. The people who are complaining about the «upselling» need to relax. It’s their job, that’s what the company expects them to do. I politely decline whatever offers I’m not interested in and they move on. I’ve never feel pressured or harassed. The first time I ever went to Valvoline, I didn’t even go for an oil change. I was in a rush to get to work and thought I’d run there real quick to see if they could help me because my tire pressure light came on. They checked my tire pressure, put air in my tires and reset my dashboard light for me for free. I had my oil changed today, in passing I mentioned it to the gentleman helping me out that my check engine light had just come on, he checked the code for me, looked it up and let me know what it meant. All without an extra charge. Very please with the service and staff.

The guys at this valvoline are very friendly and know their stuff. I’ve been to other locations, and this is definitely one of the better ones. They didn’t try to upsell me or try to con me into doing something unnecessary. Better yet they asked me whether I wanted a sticker in the windshield, which I didn’t. Saved me the trouble of removing a sticker. I’ll be back for the next oil change.

This place is great, took my mom’s car (*she’s 81 and it’s hard for her to drive over that whole in the floor!) in and they were great, and let me use the coupon for not only her car but mine as well which I brought in later that day… we were in and out in about 10 minutes… they were friendly and didn’t pressure us to buy anything we didn’t want like some «other» quick oil change places!!! Def will recommend this place!

Went for an oil change because my regular place closes early on Sat. I also had a check engine light and they checked the error. Gave me advice on possible issues. Unfortunately they dont do that work. I am grateful for the knowledge.

So yes, it’s great that you can get your oil changed while you sit in your car. I’m giving this particular Valvoline 2 stars because the attendants were really rude to me, and even a little patronizing. He asked me in the most awful tone, «do you know how to open your hood?» If I didn’t, I think I would have died of embarrassment. I really didn’t need that level of judgement that early in the morning. Also, I get that they give their «schpiel» like a million times a day, but the customers don’t hear it often, so maybe don’t talk like a robot.
I think I’ll go back to changing my own oil from now on.

I have gone here before and had no issue but the usual up-​sale attempt or two. But recently I had an unsuccessful trip.
I had my oil changed in a quick and timely manner, yet they forgot to finish the job completely and my car leaked oil for the next week. At first I thought it was from my air conditioning because of the heat, but the spots in my driveway were, in fact, oil and not water.
I went back to find that I had lost a quart of oil and was close to ruining my car.
I get that their whole point is to be fast, but they should take a second to reassure that the job is done correctly, especially for the amount they charge.

Went in for a quick oil change and quick it was. The woman working the computer ajd getting info was as nice as can be. She was so personable and helpful.
Even the guys seemed to be friendly and one changed my check engine light. No selling me things or anything. Awesome experience! !

Went there today for an oil change, hoping to get it done during my lunch break. They did not dissappoint! They were quick, friendly and professional. This was my second time there but it was a 100% better experience than the first time. I will definitely be back!

Faster than a teenager on prom night and a decent price with the Unilocal coupon. Did not try and up-​sell me anything.
UPDATE: Despite within working hours, middle of the week, the sign that was shining OPEN… this place was vacant. Thought I could get a quick oil change, but nope. Disappointing.

Went to this Valvoline a dozen times. People are very friendly, they do a good job quickly. They would try to offer more services but were polite when I told them no. I went to a few different locations and this one is consistently good.

They’re indeed very quick. There was some up-​selling going on, but nothing serious, at least not worse than most of the service places I’ve been to. Their calling the add-​on stuff «on sale» is a bit laughable though, if you know how much they really cost, but again, it’s all business I guess.
Their mechanic didn’t know how to reset the Nissan’s oil change message, but the assistant manager quickly helped me to figure it out. I was just being a little lazy (not my car), but they do feel like sincerely wanting to help.
Overall it’s a good experience, pretty similar to other Valvoline places I’ve been to.

Went to the place because of the $ 10 Unilocal coupon. The employee hadn’t heard of Unilocal … but entered the Unilocal1 into her computer, and rec’d the $ 10 off no problem. The staff was fast, friendly, and efficient, and this was on a Saturday morning. Prices were reasonable. Will return.

I’d never heard of Valvoline oil change centers until I moved out to Eastern MA. Appropriately enough, they’re priced for this area.
$ 40 for the low end price change, plus as the previous reviewers commented, the constant push to upsell. I left here with a $ 230 bill.
I really like how they have Manufacturer’s reccomended services in their computer, so if you care a lot about your car, this place is as good as going to the dealers.
They also provide a free coupon booklet on your 1st visit, which is needed considering the price.
Overall, this place is great if your looking to spend the money. If you have a crappier car that you don’t really care about, you can get an oil change much cheaper at Walmart or Jiffy Lube. If your willing to spend the money, I think this place is top notch.
