Do not buy anything from this company. They do not take care of problems with defective merchandise in a timely fashion. I have a Flexsteel recliner I purchased and contacted them due to break down of the cushion on one side. Here it is literally 6 months(or more) since I contacted them and nothing has been done. Don’t believe it if they tell you something is «made in the USA». It made be assembled in the USA but all the materials and parts are made in good olé China.(You get the drift). Even if it was made in the USA, the customer service and return policy stinks at Charter. I have called them numerous times asking for an update on the repairs, they always say they’ll call me back but never do. Steer clear, pay a little more and get yourself something that will be better quality.

I’ve bought things here and everything has been okay, but the customer service is getting a little attitudinal these days. Not sure why management gives such attitude. But there it is.

In our search for a new sofa we found the best deal at this place. We were able to custom order it and it was much less than Bassett or some of the others out there. We also tried to get a chair, but the floor model had been discontinued 3 months earlier. They have hundreds of choices for fabrics to customize, but it is all kept behind a row of recliner chairs making it difficult to get to and work with. Highlighting the fabric section with a sit down area with a table and ample lighting sure would be nice instead of having it hidden behind a bunch of chairs. The price for the quality of what we got was far better than any other place that we had been to in our search. They are definitely worth a look.

Came in today to just look at their selection. Were not in the market for anything other than probably pictures for our office. Looked around. Saw a few things that we liked but ended up not buying anything. Decent selection. We weren’t disappointed. Although, when we were leaving, the associate assisting us told us that they work on «straight commission» and he would appreciate it if we would come back and see him. He won’t be named because he’s probably been telling people that his whole life, but it more than likely made him lose any future purchases from us. It made us think that if he was only straight commission then he’d tell us anything to get a sale.
